I still laugh when i see people say the ps2 is a reliable console. It was the least reliable console I have ever owned. I had 5 fail in 3 years Disc read errors power supplies and just total system failures. I have had 3 Xbox 360's fail but only 1 was rrod. The other 2 were my fault.
Not going to happen till people can afford multiple Bluray players and Hd tvs. Average people are not going to buy movies they can only watch in one room. Dvds will still remain the most popular form of movie media until more movie company's put both dvd and bluray version in the same package for around 20 dollars bluray will still be second.
I liked the Duke but then again I have big hands.I always hated the PlayStation controllers way to small.I like the Xbox 360 controllers the best now but still wish they made a wireless Duke.
I would by one if they produced a model without wifi but put backwards Compatability back in until then or it is at least $199 i will wait

Its simple if you have to buy a ps2 and a ps3 Sony gets more money its called being greedy.
Not sure if this the same game that was shown in the new OXM but it looks like it so i think this is going to be multiplatform
Gamefly and other rental services actually have changed the way people buy games. Most of my friends don't buy games when they can rent them beat them and send them back for something else in a week without having to pay any extra late fees.
Wow and people say Microsoft is milking the Halo Franchise is this the 8th or 9th game
I love hearing people talk about Halo getting milked because they are making action figures but you don't here any complaints about the MGS figures that were made before the Halo figures and the fact that they are already starting to make LBP figures

its the opposite for me i can't bring myself to spend the extra money on a ps3 for only 2 games that interest me Kz2 and R2 both look amazing but spending upwards of 600 dollars to play 2 games just can't bring myself to do it
i think people are confusing Video on Demand (VOD) with Digital Download (DD) VOD doesn't require high speed internet VOD is a service offered through Cable and satilite providers
VOD is on most Cable Tv and satalite providers so i think it will surpass most movie formats including dvd
This is why game sales numbers mean so much a great game that sells bad can cause a developer to have to cut jobs. Where a good to average game that sells great can cause an increase in jobs and games being produced under the developer.
Halo brought the FPS to the mainstream by making a good FPS for consoles without it good FPS would still only be on PC and COD series KZ series R6v series may have never existed on consoles sorry but it is the plain and simple truth i still don't understand the hatred towards Halo
the THQ wrestling games,Goldeneye,Perfect Dark,Mario 64,Conkers Bad Fur day, damn those were just plain fun games
I think a sequel that allowed to use your avatar to play the game wouldn't be a bad idea. To bring a more casual group of players to the game maybe add a little bit of an rpg element to the game let you unlock items for your avatar.
