Resistance 2 is the only game on that list I'm really looking forward to (LOVED the first one), Killzone 2 may be hit or miss, CoD4 rules, Unreal Tournament has never been my cup of tea, and Haze looks like just another generic shooter, like TimeShift.
Although not all of the logos have changed for the better.
Sweet!
Maybe it'd be better if people like you didn't vote.
Touche.
... he dumped the contents of his vacuum cleaner onto his console.
Jesus.
... but we do have the best looking women. ;)
Besides, isn't Kentucky more in the middle?
Missing TWO holiday sales drives due to a lack of hardware availability and a lack of quality games that don't include the words Mario, Zelda, or Metroid in their title will be their downfall.
EDIT: Looks like the Phantom Disagreer is back again, or maybe someone doesn't have the common sense to realize that the Wii hasn't sold 10 million units because of it's games, but mainly because of lazy parents and novice gamers who wouldn't know the difference between Gears of War and B...
Where the hell did I say R* paid freelance artists to design these covers? I know they have their own design team! You think those artists work for R* for free? Everything costs money, including paying programmers, artists, voice actors, and publishing tens of thousands of copies of box art that will never be used to sell the game, which IS a waste of money.
And FYI, for every concept design that gets approved, on average there are 15 that don't. So yes, design costs a LOT of t...
Shouldn't R* be putting ALL their resources into making the final game great rather than wasting time and money paying artists to design game boxes that will never see retail shelves?
is someone who plays games on every system he can either afford or has time to play and doesn't drop meaningless buzzterms like "AAA" and "Killer App" in a pathetic attempt to mask his own insecurity about whatever console he has publicy supported through sites like this one.
"All you, Ken!"
It's like some morons have no ability whatsoever to comprehend sarcasm.
Gee, I wonder who'll win?
Halo: The Power of Hype.
Resistance 2 will feature rumble feedback so I'll know when I'm getting shot.
People always compain about the business practices of Sony and Microsoft, but those two companies are bush league when it comes to the crap Nintendo pulled back in the day when they ruled the gaming world.
For example, they would refuse to sell consoles to stores who also stocked the systems they were competing against, like the Atari 7800 and Turbo Graphx 16. Fortunately, they abandoned this after they started losing money.
Home wins by default.
That would be practical, wouldn't it?
One of the reasons I didn't grab a PS3 at launch was because I feared the quality of the Blu-ray player would be parallel to the DVD player installed in the PS2 (those things were trash). I'm glad that Sony didn't sacrifice quality on their new machine and am happy that the picture quality of my Blu-ray movies are as good if not better than what the standalone units being sold at major electronics stores offer (Best Buy, Fry's, etc.).
