Like what, serial numbers?
Why is it that people can spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars on a high-end machine but apparently $60.00 is too rich for their blood?
So you're saying it's okay to pirate the game if you're only interested in the single player campaign, but that you should buy it if you're primarily going to be playing multiplayer?
Here's a thought: how about EVERYBODY who plays the game actually BUY IT? Then developers might lay off on the Draconian DRM and actually start building games with the PC in mind, instead of throwing us shoddy console ports.
Wow, a fair and balanced review. Nice...
Same here.
I might buy another 360 when Halo 4 comes around. We'll see.
I just built my first gaming rig a couple of months ago. Yes, it was expensive, and yes, it was confusing. However, I can run most console ports fully maxed out at 1680x1050 @ 60FPS or more and I still average over 40 FPS for GPU-heavy games like Crysis, Metro 2033, and so on (the only games I have trouble maxing out are Crysis 2 and GTA IV, but neither are optimized worth a damn for PC and I'm using ATI cards as well, while both of those games are optimized for NVIDIA cards).

"I want a console that is more concerned with functionality instead of trying to make a fashion statement. I want a console that doesn't mind getting it's hands dirty in order to get the job done. What's that? I'm bleeding? Bah! I am still going to work.
Give me something short, squat, and tough as nails. Give me something that will take a 2X4 and give super model consoles a taste of pine for getting in their way."
@morganfell
It's a stupid name thought up by stupid people.
360 degrees makes up one complete revolution, so calling the next console the 720 is supposed to be... two revolutions. Yeah, how that applies to gaming, I have no idea. Besides, everyone knows this console was only called the 360 because PS3 just sounds better than Xbox 2 to your parents.
Then again, to call this generation's console the 360 was stupid to begin with, as there's nothing REVOLUTIONARY...
I see what you did there...
That's "hypocrisy."
Stop calling it the Xbox 720.
Get a job and get both.
Uncharted for PS3.
Skyrim for PC.
Man, I know what I'M going to be thankful for this November!
Naughty Dog has outdone themselves. Bravo!
That'll be the day...
Crytek couldn't care less about PC gamers. They're sellouts.
Don't bother, dude; it never occurs to these console fanboys that maybe we know what we're talking about because we play both PCs AND consoles and see the differences firsthand, unlike them.
@turgore
Ummm, no, the PC version is NOT modded. And so what if the settings are on Very High? What, we PC users should gimp our version in both resolution AND settings so that you can feel better about your console port? The only way to appropriately compare the two is to max out the PC version to make it look as pretty as it can. Otherwise, what's the point?
Still, it's pretty sad that a four year-old game, made on a far less optimized engine (C...
It is more likely that the next "generation" of consoles will have added RAM memory and multi-core processors to allow for more realistic physics, particle effects, and such.
@Kran: 90% of games this gen do NOT run natively at 1920x1080 resolution. They are UPSCALED from resolutions of 1280x720 or less.
Hope and Change.
Should be "hope FOR change..."
LOL, no thanks. I'll wait a few weeks and enjoy the game in TRUE 1080p @ 60FPS with VSYNC enabled and NO JAGGIES. PC all the way, baby.
Still, it always makes me chuckle at how these console fantards fight over which version looks the "best". It's like watching two skanks argue over who is more virtuous.
