KyRo makes a good point, but all things considered, I think we could safely assume that there at least 100 million unique gamers in the market, and for only 3-4 out every 100 gamers to buy these games is somewhat abysmal.
I've got a GTX 680 and i7 3770k and have the same problem. VLC is great for 99% of what's out there, but this file still stuttered for me as well (the 2.5GB HD 60fps one).
Run it in Windows Media Player and you should have no problem.
I'm glad Sony elected to go with a PC-like architecture this go-around.
A more familiar architecture means less development time of high quality titles, which means devs save money and publishers don't have to sell 20 million copies to break even, which means we get more sequels to our favorite IPs and more publishers are willing to take financial risks on new IPs, which means gamers win.
Still waiting to see what that clickpad is going to be used for...
