@Prcko
Sure, I had a PSX. It was a great console for the time, but even then, you could play a game like Mortal Kombat and toss in a music CD while you were playing and have some music on.
Then I had a PlayStation 2, which allowed me to watch DVDs on my TV, which was kind of cool because DVD players were still expensive and I could get an expensive DVD player bundled in with an awesome game console.
Then I got a PlayStation 3, which, much li...
I don't disagree with what you want a game console for, but that is you, what about everyone else? It will still do exactly what you want it to do and you can ignore every other bell and whistle.
Never too old.
A lot of us grew up playing them and they remain to be that "toy" that you can still play with as an adult without looking like (or feeling like) a giant creep. Plus it's a less expensive hobby than buying expensive guitars and cars.
Wrote the article in which you are replying to. So yes, I feel inclined to respond to someone acting like you are after reading it.
Who is "you guys?"
Do people who own certain consoles work for that company now? Are we bound by the consoles that we buy? Ridiculous.
I've always owned every console per generation. This fanboy shit is ridiculous.
I also had great things to say about the PS4 at its announcement; http://www.explosion.com/22......
The Xbox One is powered by the Illuminati, while the PlayStation 4 shows animes having relations with each other. Won't someone please think about the children? Oh, hey Nintendo.
The game industry is what it is right now. Nothing that we can do about it other than support the good and let everyone know what we don't like in a thoughtful, intelligent and well-organized manner.
See, this is the kind of attitude we need more of. Bravo.
LOL.. well said
It [somehow] already got picked up for a second season.
So it will last at least another season.
Yeah, the show has a lot more potential to continue on, but I'm not sure that fans will keep playing this game for that long or that we'll see any sort of sequel ever.
There is absolutely nothing about "gender wars" in this article at all.
There are none in this.
Yeah, that's kind of the point. There really aren't any long term pros to it unless you really like stealing stuff.
That really wasn't the point.
GTA started off as a chaos simulator and grew into something more when that got tired. They did a great job with most of the games, as well as Red Dead Redemption, but GTA IV missed the mark.
The characters and plot just weren't engaging enough compared to other games from R*.
It's clearly 'or,' somewhere between when I wrote it and it was posted a letter got transposed/improperly replaced. Not sure how that happened.
The short answer is "probably not."
The Dreamcast had the plug pulled after two years. Nintendo has lost money two years in a row now with things not looking better.
Obviously nothing is certain, but there are some interesting parallels.
LOL, the whole "seven deadly sins" thing just zips right by this reviewer.
Oh yeah, I mean, that is one of my weaknesses. I have some really nice damned guitars and gear laying around. Gaming is a LOT cheaper, though.
