what, no bioshock, fear, or fallout 3? a top five is too small for most atmospheric fps.... there are so many good ones
my list in no particular order:
fallout 3
bioshock
killzone 2
halflife 1&2
fear
resistance: fall of man
cod4: modern warfare
deus ex
stalker
doom 3
and what the heck since you mentioned it: moh allied assault (remember the beaches of normandy?)
the author is a moron... honestly. yeah id love for some devs who dont have the budget to lessen their game just to include multiplayer..
i wonder how long this guy has been playing video games... certainly not very long, because he would have hated pre online systems...
@captain-obvious
umm...... you havent been playing games for very long have you?
ever hear of the unreal series... you know the one that the unreal engine is named after? most of those games are awesome. dont discredit epic just because of gears, they are very talented developers.
@120FPS
aww thats cute, except move existed before the wii did..... theres proof of it online.
@pogibaldy
thats exactly how i feel. microsoft is capable of making truly great products, but all too often their corporate mindset of biggest return for little work gets in the way. windows 7, zune hd, and xbox live are all really good products. sigh.... i just wish they would put their talent to use more often instead always trying to get a quick buck all the damn time.
yeah i totally agree, by the height and weight standards in the army i i should weigh 165 but i weigh about 185. just the other day i downloaded a body fat percentage app for my phone and it said i had 30 percent body fat... i need to get taped (measured) every time i have a pt test at drill i end up having about 18 percent. i have a really strong lower body and that throws off all of that crap.
lol, yeah... i go to the gym almost every day and run at least 3 miles then lift some weights.
@Tunerboy8732
yes it is physically faster, but you have to consider data density: whereas a dvd is max 9gb and a bd is max 50gb there is more data per square inch on a blu ray than there is on a dvd. add that to the fact that blu ray has a constant linear velocity(disk spins faster as you get to the center to maintain read speed)and dvd is constant angular velocity (disk does not change speeds to accommodate data near the center of the disk)

no one gives props to the wii, because for (most) the core gamer the wii hardly can be considered a game system, and because most core gamers dont own one. its always a bad sign when gamers dont buy your game system.... i used to own one i think i ended up buying maybe 3 or 4 games for it, i got rid of it since i never used it.
and guys dont give me crap about you owning one... a generalization is just that a generalization. just because YOU have one doesnt mean thats the rule......
@ eddy raja
lol, i suppose your right. i tend to take stuff on the internet more serious than i should anyway.
not like it matters..... its been this way for the majority of the past 3 or so years.
@ halo mlg....
oh i dont know teamxbox.com,planetxbox360.com , burn360 and especially xboxkings.com......
honestly how old are you? cause your either young or dumb...
oops... wrong reply.
that just made my day agent smith..... lol
well, um gee..... when you make more off of platform y why would you then focus on platform x?
lol, a highly compressed video comparison = fail.... the video looks worse than the game does..... on either system.
well if you think about it most video games portray soldiers in combat oriented M.O.S.s(Military Occupational Specialty), and women arent allowed to have such M.O.S.s due to physical differences, increased hygene requirements in the field, etc. so if a game is about special forces or rangers or something similar then it would be inaccurate to include women, but if the game portrays normal soldiers going about their jobs getting attacked then yes it makes sense to include women.
d...
.... damn and i just bought a hero to replace my palm pre that i broke twice...
sadface.
