@red dragon... you dont want any of that stuff active when playing games anyway. Why? because they add extra overhead for the tv to process the images before they are displayed ie: you get extra input lag! which is a big no no online. also it is the very reason why most tvs have a "game" mode, in game mode the tv or display is displaying the raw image so you dont have any input lag due to the tv or display post processing the image.

Exclusives Drive Gaming.. fixed.. they set the benchmarks. they are the defining games in most genres (they have to be, otherwise why would you buy console x?). they push the envelope.

well in equal time the ps3 has nearly sold twice the amount of gamecubes were sold.... and at 2 to 3 times the price!

so by exactly what standards are we judging these consoles? doing something new? something first? something the best?
for example:the n64 was the first with rumble and analog, but then the ps1 had the dualshock which obviously took both concepts one step ahead with both dual rumble motors and analog sticks eventually proving to be the more prefered controller.

lol slow down there i believe you have just pegged me for someone who just started gaming with the 360 and ps3.. when in fact ive had a controller in my hand since 93 although i didnt start serious gaming until i got my n64 in 96, and more so when i got my ps1 in 98.

well rationalizing or no, that is how i feel... i work for my money and that work will not be wasted on crap.
well when you see a console like the n64(its overall line up was nothing compared to the ps1) being on that list for its few amazing exclusives, then you think of what the ps3 has accomplished with its also amazing exclusives, and its complete 180 of its reputation, oh and blu ray of course... well it makes you wonder if the author is just a wee little bit biased.
so yeah im definitely getting that controller! *crosses fingers* heres hoping that they make one for the ps3! other wise i may have to buy one of those ps3 360 controller adapters.
