The character as a whole screams "jersey shore generation" to me.
Im not to keen on the design on a whole and will remain skeptical, I miss monsters/characters like Greyon, Berial, lady, trish, and vergil. I admit it all boils down to a taste in style and thats the style fans have grown to love. The new characters from what little we've seen come off as sterile and bland, especially the bad guy shown in the trailer who just comes off...
I agree with psycho ninjas comment...although funny its right on spot.

I partially agree with everything you said and heres why. As a collective whole the gaming community continues to support DLC even though we as a whole bitch about it.
Its funny to see people up in arms on various web forums like ign,gamefaqs,here and other outlets and then go onto internet game streams to see the same people turn around and buy the game AND continue to bitch about DLC. I cant recall how many times i went into lamestop with a new game with instructions, original box and everything and only get a taco and some juicy fruit bubble gum for a trade (sarcasm). seriously though, their trade-in values suck.
I remember a time when games were in the 30-40$ price range.
If they go up to 70$+ they can go screw themselves period. It would be one thing if the wages scaled with the cost of living these days, but they dont.
Everything goes up while my damn paycheck has stayed the same. Its bad enough i work two jobs just to get by and im not going to bust my ass even more just so i can afford entertainment, they can seriously go f*&ck themselves.
Im sorry but id have to side with sloth on this one. In the case of music if a band or group wants to do something different they usually do side projects/bands. This also goes with comic books to movie translations.
The world look and story is usually rebooted keeping core elements to distinguish the two. a great example is the spider man movies or batman movies. with batman we still had a bruce wayne, we still had batman with his cape and cowl and bat symbol on his chest ...

lol yeah ok...all i know us that the wii supposedly "won" this generation and everybody and i mean everybody i know hasn't touched theirs after the novelty wore off.
Wii was and is still good for the nintendo faithful who love the core franchises and even those most people are starting to grow tired of.
if they dont beef up or put in new spins on their core franchises and invest in new Ip's i dont think they are going to do too hot next time around...

Amen to everything said above me up to johnny. At least some people "Get it". Because lord knows if George lucas outsourced the star wars brand or steven speilberg did the same with any of his movies to do "reboots" and the new directors basically sh*t on everything from the story, production, sound and characters youd best believe there would be an outcry. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves and most likely didnt love the franchise to begin with.
Ill have to agree and i dont think Abdou was talking about just the base price. Add in the data plan, memory cards, cost of games and youre at the very least spending $350+.
People like me will wait for the wifi only model.AT&T can suck a fat one if they think paying 30$ for only 3GB of data is cheap, i blow through that in less than a few hours on my phone.
I'm willing to bet exuberant fees will be thrown on to your monthly bill if you even go a Mb over.
