These were my main complaints with the game that killed it for me as well. Especially after playing other games that controlled more fluidly and not as tanky/heavy as this game. Couldnt agree more about the grind and lack of energy bar. Personally I think most people are flocking to the game despite some of these things is its the new shiny toy on the market after not having much to play the past months (unless you own every major system).
I must be getting old. I was hyped for this and dissidia and left with a sour taste in my mouth after playing the betas. Controls and camera killed it for me in both games too sluggish and tanky feeling especially after playing the souls series or nier automata.

I like how everyone conveniently forgets or glosses over the FACT that ESPN just recently had a special talking about their Body issue magazine, which I might add had basically full nudity with private parts covered but still basically naked and yet no one had a problem with that.
I really dont get most gamers. Some of you crap all over a 4th iteration of God of war but have no problem buying a 10th iteration of call of duty just because its prettier. The hypocrisy is thick this year.

Like someone above stated its all subjective to taste but i agree with you @moegooner88. For Me the crown was taken by FFXIV by the stuff Soken has made, he just straight up murdered it. Theres such a variety and depth to alot of whats there. Next would be XIII series, followed by IV, V, VII, X, and the rest
agreed. And its not just SE I really dont understand Japanese devs way of thinking. Some leave out features that the japanese version had or nerf them to an extreme degree. Its part of why the japanese market isnt doing as well as the western gaming market.

Maybe I'm just ignorant but I really dont understand how people can tell a difference unless you are veiwing this content (both pics and videos) on a 4k resolution monitor. Can someone answer this, I mean wouldnt trying to compare be non-sensical on a 1080p/720p monitor make zero sense? And before I start getting downvoted I'm simply asking a question , not stating a fact.

Screw sales numbers, screw fanboy BS, screw all this damn spin. All I give a d4mn about is which system catered to my personal preferences and interests and for that time it was hands down PS3 which offered more quality and variety in gaming other than shooters,sports and racers. Oh and before someone trys to go "oh they had rpg's/fighting games " .... yeah they had like 4 good ones compared to the 30+ Ps3 had.
I initially knew something was up before the game came out when all people would talk about in articles and message boards was how "pretty" the game was with no mention of gameplay, story or mechanics. Yet people I knew kept playing the "it has awesome graphics" card over and over. Like one person mentioned above, they need to stop rushing games out the gate and thinking they can patch things on release or things like this happen.
They will have to price this thing pretty aggressively or its DoA. Most non-gaming-people who buy a console are going to look at price first. If you see an xbox1 and ps4 for 349$ and then a nintendo switch for 400$ or more you already know what most will pick.
Please don't take my comment out of context, I said it helped run the game into the ground not that it was the sole reason. Any person who spent any amount of time on gamefaqs, reddit or official division forums knows that the complaints about PC cheating being part of what ruined the game is fact.
Not to mention his ideas heavily influenced videogames and other media and artists alike.
