Have they stated that halo is november? I ask because the last few years it seems like the big microsoft shooter exclusives have been hitting in september.
I'd still say cod, just because it's a title that hits a casual audience. Some players only own cod games. I can almost guarantee that halo owners are also fans of other games, but there are a lot of bros who just play cod.
I think they'll hold off on console til the next gen, and possibly have it as a launch title...

Well, looking at where Sony is at financially, and the apathy toward the wii and possibly the Wii U, maybe they should just call it the Xbox Dominator, since there is little doubt it will win the next, and possibly last console generation.
That won't change the OS of that particular console, unless they do make it scalable, in which case it probably would make sense to call it the Xbox Infinity.

Well, it is primarily a PR position, which would make sense in terms of hiring someone who knows the ins and outs of media spin, so I say it's a smart move.
From an objective point of view, this does have to do with anything Sony-related, as we are speaking of the brand image. The huge corporations need that image: Coke, Apple, McDonald's, Budweiser, ...Sony. This affects the entire company, including gaming. I liked Reach better than odst, and maybe even 3. For some reason, Halo 3 just lost it for me, after absolutely loving 2. Reach got me back into the series, and now I am looking forward to 4.
