I'm a huge MS supporter, but I give Sony a 5.5 and MS a 4 (as in Halo 4, since that was the only real big gun). But, I wasn't expecting much. This is Nintendo's year. If Sony and MS don't step it up next year, when I expect their new system reveals, then there'll be issues.
Sony's conference being better than MS's presser was like mud being better than crap. But, then again, if they weren't announcing the new systems, it is about what I expected. Most of the development has switched to the next gen, but they can't announce it yet, since it will impact current year and early next year's sales. It's that awkward showing they tend to have before the new consoles are released. I think most people figured this would be Nintendo's show ...

The whole point of an exclusive is to get people to buy their console. The Xbox sells great as is, so there is no need to focus on a bunch of hyped-up mediocre exclusive games. Sure, Sony has Uncharted and MLB the Show, but everything else? not missing much...(yes, even God of War, which I got tired of halfway thru 2 and stopped 3 after an hour). There are plenty enough 3rd party games to sate my gaming appetite. I have 5-6 games I'm still trying to catch up on as it is!

I liked the witcher 2 a lot, but it wasn't even close to skyrim, sorry. I was a lucky one that had virtually no bugginess or issues playing it, so I'm sure I have a different perspective on it. But, I'll stick to porn and real-life for my sex, thanks. It's not that big a deal in my gaming.

In all fairness, they did say they were shooting for more of an expansion pack-sized endeavor, rather than the shorter dlc of say Fallout New Vegas. If I can play 20 hours, I don't mind a buck an hour at all.
