online gaming IS coming back and will be up around noon tomorrow is my guess...check the playstationblog ppl kuzaari or whatever his name is--pardon my negligence--made a public statement regarding it coming back NOW in different regions and that every couple of hours some otehr state or part of another country will receive online play nothing more than online play and netflix i believe for the short time being but isn't that enough to keep up as al happy for another week or two?

@ bear_grylls YES to all the above. but if it is ANY sort of return to the success of cod4 and remove all the overpowered nonsense, bring back bolt-action rifles from the previous games like the m40a3, r700, or cheytek just improve the sound of each for sure. only one attachment on any weapon you choose. one grenade one special and so forth and so on. remove the noob tube entirely. bring back the great map design of cod 4--especially crash--bring back lean and dedicated servers for the PC...
ha you seem surprised by it's ACTUALLY really good. of course it is. if it can match anything like heavy rain and being as it was a ps3 exclusive helps i'm sure. AND they're delayed this game has been seeing more delays since 2009 than any other game well short of the vaporware that is and DNF...i wonder if ghost recon will be turnout as good after all of it's delays.
@ wedgie, there's a HUGE difference thoguh where as AC is a FULL game of around 15 hours + tons of extras. cod is a linear 8 hour campaign with little emotion and interest. dude ACB was probably the best game of last year since it was multiplatform and had one helluv an innovative MP experience that wasn't just tacked on like everything else these days. god of war 3 and heavy rain were also fantastic games yes but they're not multiplat or have that mcuh replay value so that'...
VERY TRUE treyarch has been horrible in teh past but you gotta give them credit they're the first ones with COOKABLE grenades in cod's history (cod 3) don't believe me look it up. But still the first one back in 2001 was better on pc than black ops in 2010 now how sad is that? lol. anyway if they make a return to form and make this more like cod 4 I will be soooo happy. remove that sleight of hand pro crap--better yet get rid of PRO perks entirely since they're just way too...

heavy rain happened over a year ago and it was fantastic also point and click adventure games from the pc days sure played a lot into this style of gameplay. only thing rockstar did was throw in some gta action to make sure it sells well lol.

@ AAA, the reason mafia 2 didn't do so well is unless you enjoyed the story there wasn't really any actually substantial gameplay or reward for the game. it was short and sweet and a great setting yes but not the best for 2k games that's for sure. The biggest problem was the game had literally game-breaking issues or freezing on ps3 at least my copy did and so did a lot of ppl i talked to so i've never actually finsihed it but i was RIGHT at the end but i said the hell with ...
