MicroShaft can't lie to us, we see right through them. It's sad that my Atari 2600 still turns on and plays after about 25 years. (also my ColecoVision, IntellaVision, Turbo Graphix, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, 3D0, PS1/2...) Do 360 owners really expect to say the same? MS does not release the official numbers for defective 360's. Why is that do you think? I bet that at the END of this generation, or even when they release their next system, the numbers will finally come out. Problem is that the numbers will be overall and not year by year. Be a smart consumer and this type of crap won't happen. You don't need a games panel to do what you yourself have the power to do. I have done my part, I have NEVER owned a MicroShaft game console...and never will. Thank Windows for that decision! POC software. you are wrong with the more "intense laser" to read through the "thicker coat". DVD as well as BluRay laser diodes read the different layers by refocusing the laser, not by a stronger laser to read those layers. As long as a player can be updated via firmware, the focal length mechanism can be programmed to accommodate for the additional layers depth of fields. Think of the laser as a photography camera lens, refocusing to read/see the data.

I think you are crazy my man. Killzone 2's single player campaign is top notch all the way. I can't think of a game that beats it. Not even CoD4 imo, even though that campaign was awesome too. LAIR IS a good game, but I guess it helps thinking that dragons are kick ass. And I am a graphics whore. I admit it. But then again, I was around when Pong was in bars. Grew up playing Atari, Intellavision, Colecovision, dreaming of today when games look as good as they do now.
