Confrontation will be playable, Killzone will be held back and it will not be playable. I am sure of it. Killzone will enter beta instead, but not at E3 though. We'll see.

yes, i agreed, even if there are to be No more games to be release on the PS2 right now.
If the gamer is into RPG, Action Adventure, and so on. I think a PS2 owner would have enough game to last him for 1-2 yrs even if he ONLY buys AAA titles (9.0+) (one game per month) for the next 2 yrs.
I missed out on alot of games for the PS2 in the the past 2 yrs, didn't have time to play, i am sure i am not the only one.
Noticed a trend that multiplatform that was released for both xbox360 and Ps2 always go neck in neck in sales.
That means those PS2 fans are probably not planning to go get a 360 or ps3 anytime soon because they are fine with a 'inferior' version. just thought i throw that trend that i noticed in there.

What are they going to show on E3? man,maybe they showed too much i am worry now they would have nothing to show other than Killzone. that would be bad
I am sort of disappointed. i haven't seem much new stuff.. looks liek same game with better graphics.
templar, dragoon-like dragoons, SCV, ....siege tanks..show me new stuff. even buildings for terran looks bloody same.
Just look at the face shots, how much more human-like it is now. Before was definately some thing you see in 1st gen games, first gen block-face Ubi-soft craplity; now it looks like a quality game.
with all the good games on Gamer's day, they are just looking for flaming baits that all.. i am sure we all know, including fanboys, that PS3 sales are the lowest of the 3, we have heard it a 100 times. One gamer day is not going to change anything in one day magically, pointless posts as usual.
Everything looks good except for Sports games (which i dont like). Pain is damn cool too haha, its like JackAss on PSN
I actually suspect the install base to be slight higher than the 3.6 mil units reports on vgchartz; they can't possible record all the NPD data or not all mahcine solds are recorded on NPDs. online sales, mexico, south america, China (via Hong Kong retailers and exports) blah blah. u know the story, but how much still sitting on store i dont know. at least 1.5 mil is my guess
It's "sold" in their eyes, becuase retailers pay them, and now they have the money liquidated for other operations such as making a different form-factor. ect.

this is totally legal. or else they wouldn't have allowed the 5 machine share because no one would own 5 ps3 at any one time, and also you can 'deactivate' any machine and 'switch', so even if you give away one PS3 or if it 'breaks', u can put the game on the new one after you deactivate the old one and still have 4 more uses left over.

same thing happened to the PS1, people were very reluctant at first, but Square Soft (now Square Enix) backed it with FF7 ONE YEAR LATER. guys, this story is repeating itself. FF13, if stays exclusive, to PS3 and if it comes out before November of 2008 (and yes it will, spring of 2008 now), and if the PS3 price have been effective reduce by 100 dollar or so, I cannot see how PS3 can fail in Japan. thanks, i did. i am not disagreeing with JoyStiq, i am just saying that the "NaySayers" will bite their tongue soon enough. and didn't Resistance use like more than 9 GB already even without high resolution texture streaming??? The game was still not 'that long', but good enough for a FPS. I cannot imagine how games on the PS3 will be without blu-ray..we will get short 2-3 hr games with good graphics, that's not what we want, yes?
only so many times you can innovate a 'franchise', not sure why people are expecting some ground breaking new gameplay. i think the graphics can be push up a bit more, but i am sure it will be by the time of the release.
exactly what i have been saying for the past few months, when i started playing both GoW and Resistance (R), i noticed exactly the same trend..eventhough (R) does not use texture-streaming; I have said a million time, bigger and more expansive games should NOT be compare to 'confined' GoW. (R) has more happening at the same time! same as Halo3.
each game stands up to its own right.. Game on Halo3...
another one of those inclusion and exclusion of blu-ray. It's not even the point of movie. It directly affects the games that will be out as it limits the size of the game if Sony were to include regular DVD drive. Shortsighted people. They will see soon enough the advantage of BluRay
