I wouldn't say it NEEDS HD-DVD. There's nothing on the Xbox 360 that makes it a requirement.
It's a free online storage space. You can upload files there so you can access from any computer in the world.
Good to see some content being free on the Xbox 360. It's sad console users had to pay for it in the first place is PC users get it for free from the start.
EA had been slacking with the next-gen titles since they don't have any competition. It's nice to see they've finally put in the work that's needed.
I haven't played a game so un-fun in a long time. The repetitive gameplay in Fantastic Four is the worst. Go through a door, kill 10 enemies, go through a door, go down/up an elevator… then repeat. It got old very quickly.
While I think downloadable PS2 titles may happen at some point, I don't think we'll see these anytime soon due to size issues. PS2 games were mostly released on DVD and ranged from 1GB to 4GB in size. Any games over 1.5GB I believe may be too large to provide as downloadable titles in the next few years.
Just my 2 cents.
I definitely agree. Being able to play on both the PS3 and PSP is a huge plus. And being able to use the same gamesave to continue in both places helps a lot as well.
I personally think the PSP is causing the hold-up on putting new games up for download. Sony has to make sure the games work on both the PS3 and PSP. Getting them to work on the PS3 shouldn't be a problem, but getting the games to run from a memory stick on the PSP is most likely a bit more work. Plus, they have to adapt games that use both analog sticks for the PSP if necessary
It's been a very long time (if ever?) that an Xbox 360 title has cracked the top 10 in Japan. It's nice to see Microsoft is getting some success in Japan.
Sadly, I think it will be too little, too late for Guitar Hero. Rock Band is looking very strong, with an impressive showing at E3. And with Harmonix not helping in development, Guitar Hero will be playing a huge amount of catch-up to try to match the multi-instrument gameplay of Rock Band.
Gotta love some more Sabbath songs! Paranoid is awesome!
Miss Murder by AFI should be pretty fun to play too
Granted GRAW2 has been around for Xbox 360 for a while, but I'd like to see how it looks on the PS3. Having a demo for the Darkness is good too. I know a lot of people on the fence for that game.
Another theory raised by a reader/friend after reading about the Dirac equations and Klein-Gordon equation which are loosely based on Schrödinger’s equation, is its the equation for a super-weapon. It may be part of the equation that show how the Halo’s work, and how they are able to take protons and photons and use them to destroy planets.
This comes from someone studying for a PhD in Physics.
That massive mound in the Halo 3 trailers is actually the new master computer built by Deep Thought to calculate the answer to the one question :)
And the countdown until massive amounts of people buy new computers begins...
So apparantly Schrodinger did some thought experiments with a cat (not a real cat). If the cat is put into a box in isolation (decoherence) and fed poison, the cat’s position on quantum space can only be said to be combination of possible rest states (eigenstates), because to find out it’s exact state would require the observer to interfere with the experiment. So in layman’s terms, the cat is somewhere between alive and dead, or both.
Now how does this fit into Halo? Well, one...
It's a good think that Sony said something quickly before speculation about added control schemes started going nuts on the internet.
While I agree 15 days isn't very long for code changes, I don't understand how this would benefit them from a marketing standpoint. Why put out the game at the same time as Heavenly Sword, which will greatly overshadow Lair?
I was thinking that might be the case. It would hard to not develop the game with standard controls for testing purposes. If the base code is already there, it wouldn't take much time at all to add the standard controls to the game. I think that's still and "if" at this point until we hear something official from Sony
How about a crazy Sega Monster Console? Genesis, Sega CD, 32X, Dreamcast all wrapped into one.
