Parents letting children play M rated games is no different then parents letting thier kids watch R-rated movies. Parents try to be their kid's best friend more than an actual parent. I myself, am guilty of that as well. Innocence of mind is a precious thing while your young.

Well I'm overwhelmed. And so are the other 40mil people who own a PS4/XONE/WIIU. We got a GTA/Mario Kart in the first year and a Metal Gear in the second. That's pretty damn good compaired to last gen wait 5-6 years for something.
I remember buying zone of the enders for the metal gear solid 2 demo. Zone was OK but, man did I play the crap out of that demo. Did the same thing with tonal no 1 with the FF7 demo and brave fencer musashi with FF8 demo. I like this methods. It's a cherry on top.
Though you made some good points, I think you missed the point of my argument. The only thing I'm talking about is "old" games, not new. For example;If I played Crazy taxi on Dreamcast back in 1999 with all its 480i60fps goodness. I should not see it running @240i30fps on gen7/8 system. Adding a few god rays effects or whatever on an old engine should not bog down the quality to that extreme. I'm not bashing the programmers of said games, because their job is very brutal. B...
I don't understand it myself either. Wipeout HD came out on ps3 with 1080p/60fps. On a system with split 256 GPU. Now we have systems with 8gigs of DDR3/GDDR5, and they struggle to run old games! I'll tell you this much. It ain't the systems. Its lazy ass development trying to cash in on an easy dollar. No excuse, what so ever.
Evolve was a serious let down for me.
Maybe I'm the only one but, I hated MW2. Full of glitches and exploits. And no were near balanced.

Sometimes you have to wonder, whether it's positive press,negative press, or the mixed bag this game is receiving. It's still a lot of press. And that might be good for it in the long run. It's like reverse psychology. "Don't go see that movie, it was so terrible!" In turn, person goes see movie to see how terrible it was proclaimed. Person ends up enjoying it.
Wow this looks very good. I'm glad they went back to wild life being the threats just like the original Tomb Raiders.
I guess no one rembers HAZE. That was supposed to be the halo killer for ps3. And that flopped hard. Not saying that it will be like that game, but the ps3 did fine. I think the Ps4 will be OK. Now let's talk about Halo 5, holy crap that game better deliver.
