I plead the 5th on this one.
Some games just don't age well. Soul Caliber 1 was ok, this....not so much.
I could say that microsoft should just give up on the Japanese market, but instead, I commend them on persevering in a software market that is locally dominating. They won't give up, even if the odds are bad. PS3 had the same kind of problem here in the US. And yet this little engine is still chugging away. Never give up never surrender. Or you will end up like sega. The prostitute of the gaming industry. I still cry a little inside every time I see sonic dancing for food, on the corner of ni...
The first taste of console war for me I think was between sega Genesis and super nintendo. I rember getting MK 1 for snes and my cousin got it for sega. We use to fight over which one is better, but sega won by default because of the blood code.....Until MKII. Now with superior sound, graphics and blood, the snes version won hands down.
Honesty I guess gets you a disagree.
They need to stop. Seriously, Hollywood.........just stop.
This article ,after you read through it, was probably meant for good intention. But when you scroll the page up, and see "PS3 vs XBOX360", it instantly turns itself into a flame bait article. Half the people wont even read the article before commenting. An instant Fail just because of the title for me.
Lots of espionage going on in this one probably.
Aside from solitaire and pinball, minesweeper took up most of time on school computers. Until I started playing Oregon Trail......from then on my grades had plummeted like the stock market. That scurvy gets you every time.
I think its because EA or Activision still has the rights to do marvel games. So until there contract is up, will have to rely on ports of old, which is still not bad.
Sex sells.
Umbrella?....Skynet?
Both trophies and achieve are a nice added bonus to give a player a sense of accomplishment. But that's all they do. Now if one of either companies adds worth to their trophies or achievements, then there's something to talk about. All in all they are both the same. Just there for bragging right's, nothing more.
Punch-out...........that's all I think. The next Mario, zelda or metroid game isn't coming out until the next nintendo system sadly. And yet, I'm kinda glad. I would love to see an HD mario or zelda sometime this decade.
The thing I loved the most about gold and silver back then wasn't just the fact that it was a new pokemon game with new pokemon. The thing that blew my mind was that it was two games in one, ANd never told you!
Once you beat the game, you think its over, until some guy comes up to you and says,"Hey, get on the boat". And then your taken to kanto, the original area from blue and red. As a kid I was dumbfounded.
Sticks and stones
Those weren't remakes, they were just ports with wii controls added.
EDIT: oh I see you did say ports. My bad.
It would be nice to see a Dino Crisis 1 remake too. Every time you got injured and started bleeding, the raptors would smell you, there was no place to hide. It was awesome.
Kinda figured that. Remakes seem to be on the bottom, if not non-existent on big developers list today. But its still nice to see small in-house developers still caring about what the gaming public wants, i.e. SF2HD and that new turtles in time remake.
That's sad.
