That's an opinion. Heavenly Sword, Warhawk and Resistance defintely delivered. In my opinion of course.

You didn't say anything technically wrong: But with this game, I do find it a little odd the reviews are so spread out. As I said below. It's really a love hate affair with this game.
If we redefine our definition of triple A, it can be agreed upon that high scores must be unanimous.
This game seems to be niche, but for the people it will please, it will please them alot as opposed to the people who play it, and just don't get it.

I have no problems with any games getting a bad review.
I do have a problems when games get marked down on absolutely no merit though.
I was up in arms at Gamespot's Bioshock review, Gamespot's Perfect Dark Zero review (it got like 8+, were they really serious???), Lair's EGM review, Warhawk's PSM review, and this is another pinnacle of suckage.
That's fine, and I wouldn't be as ignorant to diss your tastes.
I respect your taste in video games, and you have a perogative over what you choose to play.
However: I'm dead curious: 20 titles.

You know? Before all this sh*t, there was a time when absolutely no one cared.
I admit, it's gotten abt disgusting, but for the enthusiasts and hobbyists, it makes for decent conversation.
I love video games, and I love the video game industry, therfore: I'll chat about it on the superficial level, and on a level that goes way depper into the industry.
Considering Nintendo is the unidisputed king of handheld marketshare, Sony managing to take 33% of it is in no means whatsoever: A failure or a flop.
I won't declare it a success, or a win, but it was a valient effort.
Edit @ cooke: You won't be when you start seeing a bunch of PS2era graphic casual titles flooding the market. I'm rooting for PS360. Wii is perpetuating the downfall of my favorite and most passionate hobby. Nintendo's games just aren't plot driven...
It won't happen. Although if it did, it would be better for me. I want more hardcore handheld games (Story driven adventure/action titles). If the PSP (or PSP2) would ever take the lead, maybe we'd stop seeing damn Horsez, and Dogz, and Catz, and Brain Training, and DS cookbooks, and DS ENGLISH TEACHER, and DS WINE MAKING kit, etc,etc,etc,etc.
No disrespect to the DS, it has some good games, but this casual thing has got to effing stop...

From the demo, I'd say this game is no 9, but it most defintely isn't a 4.
I think Gametrailers scored it correctly giving it a 7.2
I eagerly await 1UP and Gamespot's review. If they're 8 and over, it would sort of nullfy any other review. If it they aren't it would make IGN's 9 the exception (outlier data) and nullify it instead.
Thank God I didn't pay for this one (Not like I wanted it anyways). Some sucker I know bought it and it really is all that and a bag of ass.
Sorry if you disagree, I reserve the right that this is my opinion. I thought even for 3 bucks, the point is, you're still screwed out of three bucks that could pay for half of a good game like Everyday Shooter.
Not impressed either, we've done this same thing a thousand times since 1996. I.E. Advent of PC first person shooters gaming.

In my opinion (Because my favorite game genre is third person action adventure) God of War 2 is the greatest game ever made followed quickly by Devil May Cry 3, trailing by the up and coming Heavenly Sword franchise.

Apparantly, according to a podcast I was listening to (I forget if it was 1up or IGN) they said it's actually scary. The game tells you to play in the dark and with headphones on. SOunds perfect for when you're in a plane, or riding in a coach where all the lights are off during the night and there's only blackness outside the windows.
Don't forget, the Resident Evil peition reached 10000+ Signatures, so now Capcom's interested in a PSP resident Evil.
Between this, Castlevania X Chronicles, Silent Hill: Origins, God of War, Tactics, Disgaea, Gran Turismo and Crisis Core.
The Price Drop, and all the functionality the PSP can already do.PS1 emulator and impending release of PS1 games on the PSStore. RSS Feed aggregator, MP3 and Movie Player, Photo viewer and internet browser, and a whole host of custimization options and the increible remote play with the PS3.
As well as a back catalog of some really great games...
