Even if Sony sells Zero consoles, it still has the games and franchises I care about :\
I don't think the PS3 will surpass the 360 anytime soon, but I do think that PS2 owners who bought a 360 will start seeing their franchises appearing on the PS3 and it will convince some of them to get one. Gran Turismo games all sold over like what? 8 to 10 million copies? Metal gear fans are hardcore, the 4 million people that bought Snake Eater will line up to buy Metal Gear Solid 4.
Well, I suppose it's good to hear that's running well.
Serious and honest question to the people that read this: If you have not played a single Devil May Cry game before, and have not owned a PS2, does this game interest you?
Edit: Wow. I just reread my comment and realized how much it comes off as flmaebat and trolling. I'm really sorry, I didn't want to come off like this. No one has to answer, if you want to report me. Do so.
Comon Sniper, I know you're able to edit your name in a third-person context somewhere in there.
I believe in you.
Interesting takes people, it was nice to read some mature responses.
I bubbled you all up, thanks for taking the time to answer, it's very reassuring to hear of like-minded gamers. Thanks much.
Awesome work Deep, much appreciated I was looking everywhere for this.
Very interesting choice of words you used there.
"Out of necessity"
You make a very fair point. Now that the Halo series is ending, first person shooter fans will want a fix to the eventual draught of shooters that will appear on the 360. That is not to say that games like Ninja Gaiden 2 and Alan Wake won't be anything short of spectacular, but Sony broadening their video game catalogue with shooters can also be detrimental as stated in the above post a...
What you say rings true in my head.
"It would take something pretty special from Crysis to get me to buy that as well"
This is what went through my mind as I read the article. Should it prove to be true, I'll be asking around, I don't have contacts in the Electronic Arts studio's that are currently making this game. I digress, what does it do so differently and so special that would cause a fan of first person shooters to select this game over another c...
This is cool and all, and I see alot of you are excited.
For the sake of discussion and inputting my opinion, I wish to clarify that I'm not raining on the parade here or crapping over anyone's exciting.
Another FPS? As if Haze, Unreal 3, Orange Box, Call of Duty 4, Timeshift, Resistance 2, Killzone 2 and whatever else is coming isn't enough? It just feels saturated now. I've already chosen Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 to be my next choice of shooters.

It is indeed, a sequel, however it doesn't follow the protagonist of ZOE. It's a different pilot in control of Jehuty.
That's what I think it is. Zone of the Enders 3
Also, Bande Dessinee 2 is coming to PSP
I also expect an MGS1 psp port like what was rumoured some time ago.
Lastly: A snatcher sequel for the Wii.
Bonus: Suda 51 joint production for all next-gen consoles.
On the Burnout demo, a couple of friends and I played tag.
Isn't that everyone's dream? To play tag, in cars, in the city? Videogames = Fantasy come to life.
I think the Wii has gotten enough hate for now.
I also reserve the right not to speak because the PS3 isn't exactly breaking records either so to speak.
However, in relation to the console, my opinionated input is that: Everyone I know that owns a Wii, owns a Wii to play Nintendo games. None of the people bought their Wii at launch to play Red Steel, but rather, Metroid, Zelda Mario and Super Smash Brawl.
Third Party efforts shouldn't abandon the W...
So basically, because of whether or not other people buy it determines your interest in a console?
What happened to buying a video game system to play video games?
Hey Clinton, so then where do you suppose she got those schematics and diagrams for Resistance 2?
There's nothing that makes sense when it comes to how this person got his/her information.
S/he can't possible be an insider in every single company.
Being somewhat on the in, I had my suspicion, but when he/she comes out with this information from European and Japanese developers, I have no idea.
I used to think it was..."ahem" Initials are J.R., worked on Assassin's Creed...Yep.
But now I think it's a journalist who set up this anonymous blog to pass along information.
You know? I found out tonight that Nintendogs sold 17 million...
My jaw was hanging.
I think the highest selling GTA was 14 million, and the highest selling Gran Turismo was 14 million, Nintendogs beat 'em both :(
Hey man, no one is going to attack you for speaking your mind. Well...At least I'm not.
Anyways, your comment seems offbase, the point of this article is to prove you don't HAVE to spent more than a thousand dollars to play PC games.
This is useful for anyone wanting to game on PC, but is tight on a budget.
If they rule 08, awesome, Sony's gonna have to step it up in 09, 08 for Sony will be tremendously better then 07, and if it doesn't pay off, they'll have to step up even further the year after.
If they don't, well Microsoft will not take this sitting down. You can be assured Microsoft is going to be spending money on some new IP's or on the acquisition of a major. They'll do something specatular. Remember, after this year, Microsoft doesn't have Halo, and Sony doesn't have Meta...
This is the correct reply. Congratulations, you win:
1. My respect
2. Bubbles
3. An Agree.
Well done sir.
I'm pretty certain I was the one that told you all that Gears 2 was going to be at GDC.
If anyone wants to comb my post history, go ahead, but this is old news on my end.
Anyways, yeha, Gears 2, they'll have a trailer.
Also: I'll beat surfer girl and tell you all this (Not a joke either), Bungie's new game is going to be announced, trailered, and previewed with a demo in front of a live-audience at GDC.
Enjoy.
