This comparison gives me flashbacks to Resident Evil 5.
And once again I'll go with the the more solid release.
It does a little better here and there and most importantly no screen tearing and nothing crippling.
Also thanks to the people posting above it sounds like there might even be 7.1 audio to enjoy Hans Zimmer's soundtrack which is supposedly totally rockin'.
From where I'm sitting the decision looks like a no-brainer.
PS3 ...
bow and kiss the ring
Good info.
Never buy the screen tear version.
Reminds me of VHS tracking issue days.
Looks the same to me.
I try not to judge people but.
Anyone who claims they can see one is better than the other is nuts.
They admit the 360 version has problems but less problems than the PS3 version so that's why they score it better.
Did Killzone 3 have any technical problems?
EDIT_ Nevermind. I get it.
This is how Microsoft shows love to the core 360 owners.
Took me a second to figure it out.
Now they can have IGN put a video segment on the 360 itself and use the bit about "the new best looking console game" to try to please the guys who ...
IF Nintendo releases a follow up to Wii later this year and it beats PS3 in terms of power (which it should) the next gen will be owned solely by Nintendo.
Every hardcore gamer would buy one ASAP because it's the only new hardware.
But Microsoft will rush to market with the 360's successor the following year or possibly half of a year because they have seen what a difference timing is when launching.
If Microsoft allows Wii2 to be on market for 2 full years ...
"think of how much more expansive these games could truly be with new hardware"
True new hardware would ramp things up, but so would larger file limits. If Microsoft would allow 3rd parties to release retail games as downloads without file size restrictions instead of being pinned down to DVD disc limits, I'm sure quality would increase.
If you look at the multiple disc games already out they are better in most cases.
And while the freedom of sp...
Fanboys need to stop because my system is the best and there's nothing to argue about.
Doing so just wastes your time.
I will never take your comments seriously.
You fanboys are a joke.
Your system is a joke.
And your jokes aren't funny.
regardless of the day I don't understand why anyone would care since it's stupid
Exactly.
It's almost pointless to say he's lying because that means he may have spoken some truth at some point in time unknown to man.
Therefore instead of calling him a liar we should celebrate his creativity and proclaim the man to be the greatest storyteller who ever lived because everything he says is a story.
So they install the entire game on 360 to try to help its performance and it still stinks.
I think I'll go write an article about how the game needs a full install and still stinks performance wise.
I'll put my full install article up along side all the articles complaining about installs on PS3.
Another thing, maybe it's me, but I got the feeling that the people in charge of this comparison really didn't want to come out and say they preferred the P...
IGN is evolving into the gaming industry's tabloids.
For years it's been pure sensationalist 360 coverage.
FUD PS3 coverage.
Indifferent Wii coverage.
For the last 6-8 months however they have turned it up to 11 for each.
including all the spin-offs, remakes, and re-releases.
Sure.
Let's not try to keep track of how many costumes they released for those 2 games you're referring to also.
Capcom really has kept busy
O GOD NO!!!!!
The sky is falling!
Blah Blah Blah PS3
Blah Blah Blah Crysis 2

So you didn't get a chance to play it.
But you say you see the 360 version looks better as usual.
Interesting.
How do you know if you didn't play it?
Mortal Kombat is now fresher than Street Fighter.
Any game is at this point.
I lost track at how many Street Fighter releases there have been lately.
Call of Duty and Madden combined haven't had as many releases this gen as Street Fighter does in a year it seems.
So for that I wouldn't buy another Street Fighter game if it came with a bowl of Ramen and a happy ending
Masterchef, common sense says Microsoft secured the majority of Crytek's focus, resources, and time at a certain point there.
But if you give me enough money I'll sit and respond to you here all day too.
And because I would be doing that there's only so much extra attention I can give everybody else here.
Even though I try to treat everybody equal.
Have a nice day.
enkeixpress, Crytek didn't lie.
The article you refer to is from April 14 2010 about PS3 version being better but that is before the Codename Kingdoms announcement on June 14 2010.
It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out what happened.
I also played both versions at the same time on 2 TVs because I have 4 hands, 2 heads, and 5 eyes too.
Maybe we're related.
It's been hard living in the world looking like this but I think I'll take a chance and go outside tonight.
Maybe we'll meet.
Probably has something to do with the NGP, along the lines that multiple devices can connect to the "network"
