I enjoyed playing Knack as well. It actually reminds me of the old platformers from the PS2 days. I also picked it up used from Gamefly for under $20 so that makes it even better.
I am thinking Black Friday next year will be the perfect time to jump in. Should be crazy cheap by then and have a dozen or so games that I want.
That's why I haven't bought one yet. I am only interested in Sunset Overdrive and Halo MCC so far. I need a good 5-10 exclusives that I am interested in before I jump on board. My 360 sat an collected dust for the last couple years so I am not going to make that mistake again.
The "free" PS+ version was always going to be a watered down version of the game anyways. You would still have to upgrade to the full game to get everything. Most people who really wanted the game were going to buy it from the start. The people waiting for the PS+ Edition were probably not going to buy it at all.
You on PS3 or PS4? I haven't ran into any bugs on PS4 so far other than falling through a level once.
I agree with this. I am loving it so far. I would rank them like this:
1.LBP3
2.LBP Vita
3.LBP2
4.LBP
5.LBP PSP
Like?
True LOL
Sony is supporting 3 platforms at this time. Microsoft is supporting 2 platforms. Microsoft held back exclusives from 360 to be launch games on X1. Sony released PS3 exclusives right up to the launch of PS4.
With all that said both consoles will really hit their stride next year. It will help once they drop the 360/PS3 for good. All the attention will be put on new games for PS4/X1.
I was born in 82 so I started on the Atari and NES. We also had a Sears Pong machine.
The creation tools alone are better than a 6.8/10.
Agreed!!! The tool set that this game offers is incredible. It really helps to show just how creative some people can be. Some of these people should be offered jobs at MM to help design new levels for future games.
They did LBP Vita though and it was fantastic.
Nope. Got the game today and am loving it so far. It's actually pretty good to be a PS4 owner right now. My backlog is bigger than I can handle right now so I am set for a couple months until the heavy hitters of year two start to hit.
SO much for just being a kids game!!!! This is amazing!!
Yes but there are games with an average score of 7 that are MUCH better than games with a 9 or 10 score. It all depends on who reviews them and what franchise they are. Which platform a game is on can come into play sometimes too. I myself try to play most games in the 5-10 range. If I limited myself to just 8 and above on Metacritic I would have missed out on tons of great games.
Exactly!! If every game got a 8 or 9 than there wouldn't be a point in doing reviews. This is a 10 point scale people. A 7/10 score is a very good game.
This is how I see it:
0-1 = Unplayable
2-3 = Works but is just plain bad
4-5 = Average
6-7 = Above average
8-9 = Amazing
10 = Perfect (Very rare score)
Any time a game has issues you will always see a small army of people saying they haven't had any issues at all. Some even go as far as calling everyone liars for suggesting the issues exist at all. Kind of sad really. This goes for all sides and games BTW.
The spacing of the sticks on the controller has absolutely nothing to do with the scale of the game. Some people prefer the offset sticks while others prefer the symmetrical stick layout. It has everything to do with how your hands feel while playing. It has nothing to do with the camera in the game being different scales.
I personally prefer the symmetrical sticks as my hands are symmetrical and it feels more natural to me.
Actually KZ MP takes a good amount of skill compared to the spray and pray of COD. Some people can't play a FPS without having aim assist and a grand canyon for a hit box.
