I am not trying to "spin" anything. It is EXACTLY a paid service but it can be used on a Smart TV without a console. It is not trying to be the same thing as BC on X1. It is trying to be a rental service which is more in line with other services like Vudu.
I know but Skate is SO much better than THPS!!! I would throw my wallet at EA to get another one. :(
I actually don't have a problem with X1 getting BC at all.
I have a problem with people acting like they have stacks of old games laying around that they couldn't play without paying "again" when it comes to PS Now. They knew that BC wasn't going to happen. They could have kept their PS3 along with their stack of games and played them for free. The problem is that most people using this argument don't even use the service in the first place.
Can we please hurry up and get Skate 4 made instead of this garbage??
That's not entirely true as PS Now doesn't require a PS4 while BC on X1 requires you to actually own an X1.
The best thing Sony can do though is to come up with a way to put an old disc in and allow you to have that game on PS Now for free forever. This would take away the "already own the game" argument while still allowing rentals of games you don't own.
Why do you people keep old games and not the system to play them on when you know damn well that the next generation console doesn't launch with BC (nor did it have any hint of it coming at all)? I just do not understand this logic at all.
If you pay to play games you already own then that is your fault. The real question here is do you still own these games but no system to play them on? If so then that is also your fault. That would be like renting a movie on Vudu while the same movie sits on your shelf because you sold your Bluray player and kept the movie.

People switching from the other platform probably don't care about BC. It's only important to the ones who had a 360 last gen.
Game is butter smooth for me on PS4. Maybe the reviewers haven't seen this lag?
Well if that happens I will be sad as I LOVE the TR franchise and it would have been a day one purchase for me. I will not be buying an X1 just to play it though so tough luck I guess.

I would say Nintendo needs to "win" E3 the most. Not because they are doing that bad but because they need to be perceived as doing better than they are.
I got the PS4 version from Gamefly and I can keep it day one for $45 ($40 with the $5 coupon every 3rd month) already. It wont take anywhere near 1-2 years to get it at $35 if you know where to look.

The game is published by like 5 publishers including Namco Bandai and Warner Bros. This game is NOT and Indie game in the least bit.
I had WAY more fun with Fallout 3 but I think New Vegas was actually a better game.
I have never actually used the buttons on the PS4. I always use the controller.
