I was still crying with joy that i had finally finished that god awful strider attack scene. Episode two was so terrible. Im no half life hater or anything tho:
* Half life 1 - played it like mad, groundbreaking fps
* Half life 2 - great sequel, amazing story, at the time my fave fps ever.
* Episode one - More of the same HL2 gameplay, a bit boring and was clearly an unplanned child of valves with the way it casually brushed off the ending of HL2.
* Episode two ...

Just played undertow for an hour, conclusion is - boring, repetitive but pretty game. Not satisfied.
All are ingame except the 3rd. You can tell its a pre-render due to a complete lack of any jaggy of any form.
Looking good, shame its arcade not simulation but oh well. Probably end up being PGR4 with less features, tracks and cars but better graphics.

Actually panzer i have both versions and i honestly prefer the PS3 one.
1. PS3 one doesn't have a 5 second freeze when you try and change equipment online.
2. PS3 one has an instant match button which puts you in the best ping game that fits ur options automatically so your not waiting around for ages in a laggy game like on XBL.
He was right to disagree with you because you are wrong, a simple fan switch cannot get you banned. It will simply void your warranty, the modification that will get you banned is reflashing your DVD drives firmware to play pirated games.
Whats with the Halo 2 hate? I thought it was a really good game, definitely enjoyed it 10x more than the original.
If its Joust again im gonna be mad, theyve tried to give that game away for free too many times and the thing is, its ridiculously difficult to play with the 360 controller.
Reminds me of CoD3 on the Wii except it probably runs in 16:9 with at least 480p (why activision, why remove those features from the UK version of the game?)

If its like DiRT then it will be good fun, have loads of amazing tracks but arcadey handling, framerate issues and screen tear.

At 42" you need to be sitting at least something like 10 feet away from the TV before SD starts to look reasonable.
