Everytime I think about a final fantasy 7 remake I remember that scene where cloud dresses up as a woman...then I imagine it in full-hd graphics with voices.

Article makes a good point. Games have become too casual and I think i'm starting to realize it in my old age.
Although I love the elder scrolls (including skyrim) I can't seem to get back into it ever since I started playing dark souls. I just love the challenge dark souls offers me, it makes it feel worthwhile playing.
I'm definitely in the minority here as casual games do sell much better so i'm happy to just stick all my games on the harde...
I know it was Daigo VS Tokido but it was still a poor performance from that Ryu/Ken
At one point he just spammed throw over and over and then timed out the round. If he did that shit to anyone else they'd instantly call him cheap.....He also spammed the throw in the final round -_-
I'm amazed Ryu/Ken won in the end, it was a terrible performance and the other player was prettty good. I know the game is new but these guys are meant to be pro's aft...

The new concept just looks generic. The first time I saw it at E3 all that time back it looked awesome, I was so excited for it...i'm so dissapointed at what we're getting now.

I stand corrected.
The jump scares got me for a bit in both dead space games but I eventually managed to get used to it. Silent hill plays against your mind, giving you a chance to build up some false sense of security.
When it comes to fear, your mind is your worst enemy. If a game can manipulate you into thinking negatively then it is successful as a horror game.
With all that said, the scariest game i've ever played is Fatal Frame. I can barely stand playing it.

I gave 40+ hours to Final Fantasy XIII before I could take no more and accepted that I wasn't having fun.

Take my statement with a pinch of salt. I'm not suggesting MW3 or anything else coming out is going to be crap, I just won't play anything else for a long time while I have skyrim, it would be a waste of my money to buy new games when I can wait down the line to get them cheaper.
