No. They have said it is limited. IE you wont take down buildings - but you can shoot through windows and walls.
To be fair they said the record so far is 13 in a 3 player match.
This is so freakin next gen. Loving the power of the cloud. Where is all the lulzers at with their secret sauce nonsense?
They will supposedly still have destructibility in the campaign, but it HAS to be toned down.
Imagine a campaign where you blow up every building in the 1st 2 hours. You fail to even discover 90% of the quests or gear. In multiplayer the city respawns every game.
No way you can do this in an open world either. in Multiplayer the maps are smaller and limited. You have to watch the video and realize they BUILT these buildings using dozens of different mater...
For those that often don't read the articles - you have to watch the video. WOW.

Not really practical when you think about it. You would end up with a totally leveled city within the first few hours of playing... in a game that should last 20+ hours. In Multiplayer - the city respawns every game. Also lets not diminish how amazing this is. It takes SO MUCH POWER (20x a single Xone) that it has to be on limited maps. They cant do this in an open world.
The most amazing video game demo I have ever seen... For those of you that don't always read the articles, go watch the video and remind all the haters out there that they said the cloud was BS.

Everyone that naysayed the power of the cloud owes the rest of the gaming world an apology. You would limit the advancement of technology just because you prefer Sony over MSFT.

I think ALL systems have enough stuff that its not a big deal to buy something WAY after launch or not even at all. But with Halo 5, Scalebound, Crackdown 3, Fable, free unlimited DVR and Sling Box, PC to Xone streaming, backwards compatibility .... I would be buying an Xone if I already didn't have one (thanks to DR3, F5, FH2, HMCC, Rare Collection)!

I hate full on stealth and physical puzzle games (like MGS). I prefer to have the option of going "John Rambo" on them (Mordor, Far Cry). I want to be able to feel like a Bad A$$ that can crush the puny normals as long as there are even bigger Bad A$$es then me (Borderlands, Skyrim, Dragon Age).

He's right. My list is too small. Halo 5, F6, RoTR, QB, KI3, Halo Wars. Cities: Skylines, Train Simulator 2015 and Thimbleweed Park. Too bad Sea of Thieves and ReCore couldn't make it.
Nintendo also looks to have a strong presence.

We need clarification on the destructibility. Is it multiplayer only? Also, does all the debris and falling hurt players?
Expecting this to draw in all the PS4 Trolls.... But this looked awesome!!! 20x the computational powah of the Xone.
As I have said many times - DX12 and Cloud are not about "catching" the PS4 in resolution. That ship sailed when they chose the GPU. Its about enabling new experiences. More enemies on screen (Imagine the next Dead Rising). Better AI (F5, FH2). Bigger multiplayer matches. Bigger open worlds (MMORPGs).
