FH2 missed this list by 1 day? I doubt many games on this list will beat it's 86%+ metacritic.
More pointless trolling by Sony Ponies. No one expected Xbone to do well in Japan. No idea why they even bother. But Sony has always counted on Japan to be a huge territory and Sony is selling 1/10th as many PS4 compared to PS3. It's down, down, down since the PS2.
FH2 just set a really high bar for Drive Club - ratings of 90% are amazing for a racing game. Hopefully PS4 fans get a really solid racing game to hold them over till GT.
Score would be higher if it wasn't for people with 5 point systems. 4/5 is an 80 - it's a B- Game certainly doesn't deserve a 5/5, but you choices shouldn't be - perfect (5) ok (4) average (3) bad (2) or terrible (1). Every one with a 10 point system is high 80 and low 90s.
The reviews for this are amazing. Mostly in the 90s. That's incredible for a racer. Hell that is the highest ratings for any game this gen except TLOU. And the soundtrack sounds insane. Drive Club and Project Cars don't stand a chance.
Unfortunately it's not out yet and the reviews make the waiting even harder.

Sony has an incredibly strong and well deserved gaming brand. The PS1 And PS2 literally changed gaming. Without them we would be choosing between the Wii and a Sega 64. They really messed up the PS3 at launch with the price and the Cell processor. And MSFT rocked it with 360. But the PAY still dominated exUS. All consoles are dead in Japan. The ratio of sales of PS4 vs Xbone is 5:1. That is less then PS3 vs 360.
Secondly the Xbone is outselling the 360 and the 360 had no competition. The Xbone is competing with one of the fastest selling consoles in history.
Finally 360s second Holliday had moderate sales. This Holliday is going to be bonkers for Xbone and ps4.

Consoles are DAED in Japan. The Xbone to PS4 ratio is actually BETTER then PS3 vs 360.

No need for a PS4. All of its decent games are a valuable on Xbox and PC. Has nothing to compete with F5, DR3, Titanfall or the coming FH2, SO, MCC and eventually H5, GOW, Fable etc... only reason for a PS4 is so you can pause your game and squint at the screen standing 1 foot away and counting pixels.
Wii U isn't fully next gen, but it has some fun, nostalgic titles on it.
The multiplatform games listed here go from mediocre on Xbone to amazing on PS4 because they have extra pixels.

China has 100 million middle class families. At least 10% will buy a console. China HATES Japanese products. Toyota can't sell cars there, it's all Germany and American brands. That's why Sony hasn't even announced a launch there. The issue is that while MSFT will move a lot of hardware, it remains to be seen if they will sell any software, or if it will all be pirated. Hype Machine? I don't understand the title. Destiny was hyped. Watch Dogs was hyped. Titanfall was hyped. Morodor, Sunset, For a Horizons - these are games that are getting a ground swell of support from GAMERS not Sony or MSFT spending ridiculous $$ on advertising.
