I have almost all the "free" PS+ digital games downloaded, I have DCUO, Plants vs. Zombies and Loadout downloaded, and I have the game data of six AAA games downloaded. In addition, I have themes and DLC, and I still have over 100GB left.
I won't even tap into that 100GB because I will delete game data or digital games long before I move on to my next game.
It is surprising that people on this site are so immature. I thought IGN was bad, but I t...
I love the Yakuza series. It's eccentricity is what makes it great. I just wish that would
improve the fighting engine.
I could do with a lot less cat. Japanese game companies always perplex me.
Quite a difference between the two. I didn't realize there was until I saw this comparison. I suppose that's to be expected though considering the E3 reveal was a limited demo that could be maximized.
I have easily managed with the 500GB HDD that came with the PS4. I'll never need to spend another dime on a new HDD.
I know there a lot of little things that could still be tweaked, or fixed, but the two that annoy me the most during combat are: 1) That I can't switch weapons during a fight 2) That I can't give my companions health potions when they run out.
I have been enjoying the game, but I really would like to see more versatile combat. Take what Dragon's Dogma, or Kingdoms of Amalur did, and expand and improve upon it.
The Yakuza series should be on that list.
Yeah, it's shocking that so many people think that a washed out, grainy look is an improvement.
I showed the two images to some friends yesterday (they aren't gamers) and asked them which image they thought looked better. Without telling them which was the before and after pic, they all selected the first image.
I realize people are real defensive about their console of choice and in particular this game, but I think they are being dishonest with the...
I noticed the difference in lighting in the background, but the lighting on his face looks better in the first build. Overall I would rather have the color and detail of the first build.
I'm a bit shocked that only one other person agrees with me.
It's amazing to me how readily people are willing to admit that online gaming has such control over their lives. They happily tell you they have been online all night and all day as if that is the norm.
So the new build is the grainy one? And that's supposed to be better? I can barely see the woman's face (in the background) in the new build. I think it looks crisper and more detailed in the old build...and I'm buying the game.
Who cares about tiny details in the distance when you are running for your life at 60fps? You are looking at your immediate surroundings, not admiring the view.
It's very odd that this site is predicting future PS+ games. It's one of the last things I would think they would discuss.
The quality of the visuals didn't impact the overall enjoyment on last generations consoles. The game has never been about top-notch graphics.
@typ: A Canadian team hasn't won the Stanley Cup since '93, so I would argue that the best professional hockey is played in the US.
Great English subtitles for those that don't understand Japanese.
I totally agree. When you get that time machine working, let me know.
I miss the '80s.
"That's the point of weather...to make driving more difficult" I agree, but showing rain on the camera is antithetical to third person mode. When they film races in movies, they don't show rain on the lens of the camera. That would be like showing droplets on the camera lens while filming a sporting event. Camera operators try to avoid that at all costs.
People choose third person so they don't have that first person weather effect. Can you imagine if e...
@combatcash: I agree with you. It's amazing that so many people see the gray, washed out look as an improvement. I don't know why it's so hard for people to admit that the game still looks fantastic, but just not as sharp as the alpha build. People on this site are always hyper-defensive.
