These guys could use some caffeine.
It seems whenever we see a camera panning shot in a cutscene, in any game, the frame rate drops. I can't figure out why panning shots are so difficult to stabilize.
This reminds me that we need a new Road Rash.
I need to use the outlet on my surge protector for other devices, like my other consoles and my Blu-ray player. All the other slots are occupied by devices that I have in use all the time (modem, TV, cable, etc.). My PS4 is the only device that doesn't need to be in use daily and I need the outlet slot.
I also need the HDMI cable that my PS4 uses. So basically I have to unplug my PS4 and remove the HDMI cable everytime I want to use my Blu-ray player or one of my other c...
What I can't figure out is that is was still about 8 months away from being released if speculation was correct. How would ND know 8 months in advance that it needed more work? I could understand if it was 3 months from release and they weren't comfortable with the product, but 8 months seems like plenty of time to change or fix anything that is needed.
Could they be waiting for API improvements?
I would like to be able to do this from a cold start up, not rest mode, as I don't leave my PS4 in rest mode. I always shut it down.
Did Microsoft release Crimson Dragon, D4, Dead Rising 3, Fighter Within, Forza 5, Killer Instinct, Kinect Sports Rivals, Powerstar Golf, or Sunset Overdrive on their Xbox 360 console? No, yet you complain about Sony not releasing Infamous Second Son on the PS3. Give me a break.
I love the touch pad. I would like to see that used more. I also would like to see the six axis used more. It was used very well in games like Flower and Heavenly Sword.
I still miss the start and select buttons. I'm not sure I'll ever get used to the option button functioning for both of them.
So true. I have two controllers just to get through long play sessions.
All you people arguing are mentally ill.
I wrote that it has more detail, not too much detail. There is a big difference.
All games are scored based on certain criteria and graphics have almost always been one of the most highly touted. Even games that have retro graphics are often times called charming or nostalgic.
There are a lot of games that I have played that were lacking in the story or gameplay department, but that didn't stop me from appreciating the effort that went into the look of the game (The same can be applied to movies). This game deserves more than a 1/5 or 2/10 just for ...
The pictures in the "After" shots have more detail.
That means you are selecting those options on the conversation wheel. You should
be angry with your own inner desires.
It must be rough being you.
@combatcash: I agree with you. It's amazing that so many people see the gray, washed out look as an improvement. I don't know why it's so hard for people to admit that the game still looks fantastic, but just not as sharp as the alpha build. People on this site are always hyper-defensive.
I have almost all the "free" PS+ digital games downloaded, I have DCUO, Plants vs. Zombies and Loadout downloaded, and I have the game data of six AAA games downloaded. In addition, I have themes and DLC, and I still have over 100GB left.
I won't even tap into that 100GB because I will delete game data or digital games long before I move on to my next game.
It is surprising that people on this site are so immature. I thought IGN was bad, but I t...
I love the Yakuza series. It's eccentricity is what makes it great. I just wish that would
improve the fighting engine.
I could do with a lot less cat. Japanese game companies always perplex me.
Is this last sentence in the review a joke?
"It does get to legitimately say that it looks and plays better than any other baseball game you can buy right now, but only slightly."
Slightly? Ha.
