besides Kinect, M$'s biggest showcases were Halo: Reach and Gears of War 3. these franchises make money, but do little to innovate.
on the other hand, Sony will be showcasing LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 3, Socom 4, the Last Guardian and possibly Infamous 2...all of which belong to series that are critically successful.
M$'s conference was all hype, little substance. it's practically impossible for Sony's conference to be as much of a let down ...

i can believe this. the gaming news sites have been covering Sony's stuff like crazy so you only have to come to N4G or Kotaku for news on Sony games. however, MS is super secretive right now so you'd have to goto Google in order to find sites that have any news on MS games.

not sure if Sony cares for their fans (M$ sure as hell doesn't) but Sony has always understood that the product sells itself. if it's quality then people will buy it. Sony always strives to put out the best quality product possible and that's why they were recently deemed #2 on a recent list of "most reputable companies". M$ fell on #11 on the list...not even top 10.

timed exclusives are indicative of a money hungry company...that's why M$ has more timed exclusives than Sony. as for M$ stealing exclusive games, FFXIII was the only one that really mattered and we all know how THAT turned out.

HDTVs started out above $10,000 and 2 years later they became common place. it will be no different than 3DTVs...
...btw, Sony isn't the only ones developing 3DTVs, but they ARE one of the top companies pushing quality innovative technologies. M$ on the other hand is pushing faulty dated tech and claiming that it's state of the art.

neither does Natal. voice operation, UI control, facial recognition...all of these are already possible with the PSEye. however, with the Move you get something that you can't possibly get with Natal the way the developers intended you to use it.....physical feedback.

Enslaved looks nowhere near as good as Uncharted 2 in the graphics department. Uncharted 2 flourishes with colors and shades, while Enslaved's visuals are drab and washed out. the animations might be a different matter but from what i saw in the first official trailer, they don't look like anything special.
It will double sales....but it will also double the production cost :P
I like how most of these articles that will admit that Natal is pretty much useless for games end up saying "but it has a lot of POTENTIAL" or "it has a lot of POSSIBILITIES" as if they know Natal sucks but they HAVE to say something positive about the peripheral. It's like saying that the girl you're talking to sucks but it has a lot of POTENTIAL and POSSIBILITIES to not suck.
