i'm honestly not that crazy about Move...but it's ridiculous that Kinect's lag will be a problem considering they've had a year since the last E3 to fine tune it. no more "BAM!" moments, but i've seen various videos and Kinect indeed has noticeable lag. watch the video of the 2 guys playing the game where you jump and dodge while collecting coins. those guys had to jump over the rails BEFORE their avatar got to them.

...but this is too rich. imagine the taglines they can come up with!

-"Move, it's got balls."
-"Swing your balls!"
-"Play with our balls!"
-"Move, the ball's in your court."
-"Move, just don't teabag yourself."

i company owned by Microsoft doing damage control...why am i not surprised? it would be different if it were Ubisoft or Konami saying such things, but Rare saying is just an untrustworthy as M$ saying it.

it's clear to me that Microsoft is Diskinected from it's fans and a good chunk of the gaming community. they're also late to the plate as Sony already released a similar peripheral and realized that you can't market 'no controller' as an engaging way to play games a while ago...which is why they turned down Natal's tech in the first place.

i agree that everyone is giving Nintendo the 'win' because they've been losing for the last few years. they did a great job this year and i don't want to take anything away from them. however, if they had been this consistent (like Sony has been) in their past few E3's then i have no doubts that everyone who be saying that Sony got the 'win'.

i'm glad Nintendo got it's groove back but that doesn't necessarily mean they 'won' E3....

...Little Big Planet 2. that's PLENTY innovation right there. this one game allows you to create modern, retro, shooters, strategy, fighting, racing, platform, sci fi, fantasy, you name it...the possibilities are ENDLESS. not only can you create levels, but LBP2 will allow you to create WHOLE GAMES. please name me one Microsoft or Nintendo exclusive that has HALF that kind of innovation.

they're the most innovative because they slapped 3D onto a hand held??? good lord, since Nintendo got their groove back the Nintendo fans are becoming almost as bad as the Microsoft/Sony ones.

personally, i think Sony won simply because they had more variety and i think they had the best presentation. i don't know why people keep hating on the montages, but i think they're awesome. they're great for showing a multitude of different games within the span of a couple of minutes. they also had the 2 biggest surprises in my eyes. those 2 being Portal 2 (introduced by Mr. Newell HIMSELF) and Twisted Metal (introduced by another surprise guest). they also had the best humor a...

R0me, unfortunately, you're right. the PSeye wasn't very popular, but then again Sony wasn't advertising it as the 2nd coming of the PS3 (that's the Slim). M$, however, put tons more emphasis on Kinect than they did with 360S. M$ knows how to use their money to get their products known, but what they SHOULD be doing is using that money to make more quality products and invest in better business tactics.

i'll agree that the Move is basically an evolved Wiimote and i have no problem with that. however, most sites tout about how much tighter and reactive the Move is over the other 2 motion control peripherals.

thing with Kinect is that, yes, it might be an evolved PSEye and it might be able to do MORE from a technical standpoint....but they haven't SHOWN it to do more. they've shown how accurate the Move is compared to the Wiimote....but Kinect hasn't shown off ...

.Kinect showed nothing that the PSEye can't do. Kinect might be able to go above and beyond, however, everything they demonstrated isn't beyond PSEye's capabilities. add 'Move' and your options and experiences become 5 fold. M$ has the money to shove Kinect into homes, but that doesn't mean it will amount to much in the long run. if M$ wants Kinect to be relevant and successful then they better bring games that are genuine. unfortunately, aside from...
