Pricks. I was in the middle of playing through Skyrim again on there. My Laptop isn't powerful enough to run the Special Edition so it was nice to play it at 60fps compared to 30fps on console. It is developed and published by Bethesda. ID software are a part of Bethesda. Bethesda bought the studio years ago. I don't think any of the original studio is left. All the developers, John Carmack, John Romero etc left years ago.
I bloody knew it. When I saw " In game purchases" on the pre-order page I had my suspicions that Bethesda were going to monetise this game. I have totally lost faith in Bethesda. The only thing I didn't like about Doom 64 was the missing shotgun animation from the originals. Thankfully Brutal Doom 64 fixed that.

Microsoft are like Sony & Nintendo. They are platform holders. Platform holders have no need for microtransactions. Try it with Mario 64 and you'll understand how good that controller can be. I've played the game through emulation with other controllers but when you use the N64 controller to play it it's like night and day. Its like the N64 controller was designed specifically for Mario 64.

I hate the term Metroidvana but what other term can they use this describe the Metroid/ Castlevania/ spin-off genre? It's just a term thats stuck. Mind you People have started calling the Metroid style Castlevania games as igavania.

I have both Xbox and PS4. I don't pay for it on Xbone because most of their good games are the backcompat ones they have available on the service and I already have those. On the PS4, they won't have those. Just this gen games. I don't think it'll be worth it.

Wow. This is £11.00 more expensive than Jedi Outcast. Screw that. It's pretty much the same game. I've still got my copies of both from years ago and have no need to pay £18.99. I just checked out the price for the same game on Steam. £7.19. There's no way they can justify charging everyone over 50% extra just to own it on a PS4.
