but if there were no trophies to begin with, i would have just played through them once and then it's off to be traded-in.
i don't even bother with trophies. then if i think that the game is worth replaying and the trophies are easy then i go for them.
if it's hardcore trophies like motorstorm and warhawk, i just ignore them.

there were a lot of WTF moments in Uncharted 2.. not just the gun fights but also the platforming.. but it felt like i've played it before.. maybe because of inFamous, which has a lot of similarities including the controls
demon's souls melee combat is awesome..the best in its genre

you're gonna miss out on a lot of cool stuff if you don't have a guide.
there are sidequests and additonal bosses (NPC black phantoms) that will only pop up if you have an extreme Character or World Tendency. and having a guide will make that happen faster/easier.
i would suggest checking out internet guides on your second play-through. (you should play through it twice because there are 2 endings as well)

combat is methodical, like bushido blade.
the world tendency is better than karma system of fallout.
the best part for me is killing/farming the 3 red knights in front of Penetrator's archstone. beating up the soldiers before that is hard work. and if all 3 knights attack at the same time then i have no choice but retreat.
it's always satisfying.
