friendly AI is stupid. remember FFXII's gambit system? i like that. i was good at that. this game's version of that is broken.
then there's the graphics. ugly graphics even when i'm playing on the superior ps3 version. maybe it looks good on the pc but poor xbots looking at this game on the inferior crapbox version.

yes, i am of the few who like that system. (i requires some brains to use it, that's why)
i bought my ps3 after the 1st price drop back in Aug 2007 for $500. i also bought a pc around that time for around $800. guess which will play DAO.
i know that the pc is capable of better looking games than DAO. but from a developer's standpoint, there is no reason to do that extra work when the console version will sell double and only a few pc nerds will get to see a significant graphical difference.

xbots felt cheated and quickly traded OCLD in after 1 week. there are no 3fixme games aside from flopza, which the xbots do not like. so xbots use the store credit to pre-order mw1.5 instead.

i love how readily admit that linear rpg and that it's a good thing. then adding that it isn’t really linear at all to make it look good even though it really is linear.
but if any other game(like Uncharted 2)is linear, then it a bad thing.
you have it wrong. the right advise is: Don't play this game after playing demon's souls.
this game will look outdated, the atmosphere will look even more generic and its combat will feel shallow AFTER playing demon's souls
they have the balls to give overhyped games what they deserve. 7.5 for graphics looks about right. this game looks like crap. baldur's gate is still superior to this one - including its 8 year old graphics.
