Splinter Cell Conviction is only possible on Xbox 360. Ubisoft said as much a while back when they stated the PS3 couldn't handle the AI within the game.
The original Wii Sports was responsible for maybe 20-30 million users playing videogames that normally wouldn't. Ricochet for Natal is going to have the same sort of impact, if not more. The gap between PS3 and 360 is only going to increase.

Outside of Japan, Nier Gestalt is just called Nier because they know there is no point point releasing Replicant, especially only on PS3.
Halo 3 sold twice that in half the amount of time and that's only in the US. Lets wait another month or two though before we call GOW3 a flop.
Yes I'm hoping Rising will be good. I didn't play MGS4 because the devs refused to bother with trophies and I don't have a PSP. That doesn't change the fact I think they need to give the franchise a break.
I can think of at least eight games in the series since 2006 so no wonder I'm fed up with it. Kojima is a reasonably talented guy I think so he should get out of his comfort zone and do something different and from the sounds of it, that's exactly what's happening.
He should maybe revisit Metal Gear in ten years time because the recent games have been a bit stale.
I didn't need a gimmicky track editor in Mario Kart because the ones they supplied were unforgettable. Maybe if the Modnation Racer devs could be bothered to work on their game properly their game might reach a similar level of brilliance.
I guess Kojima cares about this game afterall. Can't wait to play the superior 360 version.
I think I played Modnation Racers on my Super Nintendo 15 years ago, only it had much better playability and was called Super Mario Kart. Still, at least you have games that don't exist like Killzone 3, Littlebigplanet 2 and Resistance 3 to look forward to.
I don't even know why we are discussing this. It's a fact that the 360 exclusives are better, OXM even said as much a while back.
A lack of quality titles and sense of direction from Sony is really lowering confidence in their product, even in their home country.

I don't know how it will end but I do know it'll be through the medium of outstanding storytelling just like the first two.

The message from publishers is clear; The PS3 is a disastrous waste of time, money and resources and this proves it - a massive franchise from the past returns and PS3 can't cope with it.
This game will prove how much rubbish Sony was talking when they said Killzone was only possible on PS3. As for the headline in this article, it's pure science fiction.
My predictions are that it'll be either something from Square-Enix as they are loving the 360 right now - maybe Kingdom Hearts, Parasite Eve or Final Fantasy VII remake or a new Syndicate from Lionhead.
This game is going to reinvigorate the industry.
