Waiting on Mafia II to hit the $20 bin at steam. The demo was fun but I do not want it at the current price.

I almost did not open up GT5 since I am not a racing fan. I am glad I did. I know I am hooked when I play the same track 10 times just to get gold.
Wow..... Great video. I did not realize how real the tracks are in the game. I even noticed the trees being pretty close to the real thing as well!
You will be broke before you know it. They will put so many deals out there that you buy a lot of games even if you are not sure you will play all of them game that much.

At the end of the day, any company can be bought for the right price. I hope Valve is making a lot of money. It will be harder to buy them out. Valve's EBITA got to be impressive.
While I have a PS3, I will always be a PC player first. However, how do you blame the devs? They are following the money. They are selling more on the consoles except for some key titles (Wow,Starcraft...etc). Look at Black Ops - Consoles have 3 million users a day when peaking while steam is peaking at 100K - 150K a day. I am trying to do my part. If the game is multiplatform, I will always get the PC version even if the game is better suited for the console.

Only good thing about having DLC ready to go right after launch is they need to fix the game before people will buy it. While I like the game (- Compare to MW2 - PC) I am surprised they have the online issues with an on old engine.
Again - Nice game - lean/ Mod support / Dedis is a huge plus but they should have not had CPU issues at launch.
Timing says everthing..... Wonder how far along they are with the maps. If they do not give a date soon, I think they are trying to stop people from off loading thier copy in anticipation of new DLC - Vietnam for $15.

I d/led the theme about 2 hours after it was online. There were over 3000 reviews when I got it. Glad to see them extend the beta. I only play FPS on PC but this will be a good test to see if I can convert when a game is a PS3 exclusive.
PS3 needs a game changer right now in the US and it could be GoogleTV. Then again, it my be the techno or over 18 crowd that would see the value. I am a PC / PS3 person but I do see how well the 360 is doing in the US despite the lack of exclusives.

How about SteamPlay? Steam just had a deal for the PC/MAC for LFD2 and the are not happy with Microsoft. Would be interesting if they did a SteamPlay with the PS3. The file size would be too large on the PSN but it would be a nice twist.
It is right after the Oct 12th announcement and we already know Sony said a BluRay player will have it. If they get Google TV, Sony will see a huge increase in PS* subcribers. It would put a nail in what logitech is going to release for $299. Why would someone get the logitech box for the same price as the PS3.
.... in the short term that is..... I was about to get the Wii for my kids for christmas since they had been asking for one nonstop. I tried a number of times to hook them on my ps3 but it never worked past a few PSN games and LBP. Even then they would not play the PSN games past a week. I just got the Move and the kids no longer want the Wii. Now I can spend the exta $150 on titles for them (and me :)) My 4, 6 and 10 year old girls are now asking for start the party and eyepet. Not the best...
I heard Microsoft is working on a few high end rig games. I would not be surprise if they add a PC enable Kinect in the future. It would be some time from now. They are not going to want PC people not getting the 360.
I plan to get the Move for the kids. I do not have a Wii and most of my gaming is still on the PC.
Why so many 360's? I understand the PS3 for blue ray in two rooms. I even can understand 2 360 for differnet rooms but 4?
Cuboid will be free within 6 months. First a little discount and now 50%.... I have a feeling people on the fence will start to get gun shy buying something with a discount. I wonder how Sony will handle this situation. The two week update helps but they may need to go futher out.
