My kids want one but I do not see the huge diff over the DSI. I am not paying $$ for a handheld that does not offer too much more in software.

I was thinking the Impulse buyout was to go agaist steam but now I am thinking it will turn into a Steam/Game Fly service.
BF3 will give PC a jolt for a year. A number of people are going to update thier rigs for it and buy a few more games for thier new rig. Sure they will continue on the console but the PC will be an option again. The gamers who are post-BF 2 will not jump on board since they do not recall the massive battles.
It has hurt the PC Mods. Before DLC a number of devs put out mod tools. Now the PC community only has a handful of devs putting out mod tools. DLC has hurt the games community life cycle.
Youtube is a great place to learn/see how it is all done.
I always upgraded myself until last year I decided to build my firt from the ground up. I was a little nervous but after spending some time in Youtube I was more comfortable. Your motherboard guide will tell you where to connect everything together.
I am so glad I know how to do it now. I was able to learn every aspect of my system. If something gets old I do not have to upgrade everything at once...
LOL... You still have to install the beta and patch it up. It will take awhile to start playing.
