People still think work involves either manual labor or being in an office from 9-5, or streamers/youtubers do nothing but sit on their butts all day and play video games.
There's no difference for a video producer (for example) that does his job at home compared to someone who does it in a work office. Denouncing the former just because the hours are set by the freelancer and the job is done at home is ridiculous.
