I’ve got nothing to hide.
Unless you were born before the 80s, you're a millennial too.
lmao.
The issue isn't other platforms playing with each other. It's understandable that Sony doesn't want to do it.
The issue is that Fortnite is designed to use one Epic account with multiple platforms (PC/Mobile/Switch/Xbox/PS) and all your stuff carries over regardless of what platform you're playing on, and if someone for example plays on the PS4 at home and wants to play on the Switch on the go, they can't. It goes against the idea Epic went with, and the...
Another statistic in their arsenal huh?
Oof. You okay there bud?
Maybe don’t give links and data about who’s complaining a hard pass while pulling statistic out of your own ass.
Just a thought.
Lmao what part of that reply was even related to the accounts being locked out from being played on the Switch?
Get outta here LOL.
Not a correction, but a deflection. Nice try though!
It's always been there, but people gave it a hard pass and excused it as "PS4 gamers don't care about crossplay"
Switch version shows up and is currently the definitive way to play Fornite on a handheld device, which surprise surprise, a lot of PS4 gamers also own.
Greg Miller, Jim Sterling and plenty of people who are either big Sony fans or fans of gaming in general with a large following are speaking out about it. People think it's just another "Sony doesn't do crossplay" thing when it's a "People who played Fortnite on the PS4 are upset that they can't play Fortnite on the Switch" issue.
Restrictions like this should not have existed to begin with, let alone not even warn people about it.
"A video game company makes games?! They really do care about us!"
You're. Missing. The. Point.
That's fair, but we don't know for sure what's the reason, and there was no warning about it whatsoever. That's why people are upset and are calling it out.
Hate to break it to you, but no corporation is gonna give a single toss about anyone online defending them or hating them.
People are just numbers. Numbers are money. Restricting platform login on a 3rd party account because of platform association is garbage, and deserves to be called out on.
Keep crossplay. Remove that idiotic account limitation bullcrap.
There was never a warning about this. That's why people (the majority from what I've see are PS4 players wanting to play on their Switch mind you) are upset. It's a dumb restriction and they could've let people know about this beforehand if they were gonna stick with it.
Why is it so hard to acknowledge that it's a legitimate issue instead of just deflecting it or treating it like a nonissue?
Yikes and a half. I can understand why no crossplay, but locking down YOUR account because of platform association is ridiculous.
That’s like Apple forcing you to make a new Twitter account because you used Twitter on Android.
Honestly, this issue needs more attention because that's just ridiculous.
They should've brought it earlier.
It's comments like these that are the reason why representation matters. Good job. Keep it up c:
