Not sure how it was under rated, but yeah, great multiplayer. I completed both journeys and got all the gear I think.
It's not that odd. Sony isn't doing too well as a whole and hasn't for quite some time. It doesn't really matter if the Playstation department is making profit, cuts still need to be made across the whole company in order to survive/return to a positive balance sheet.
Sony execs have probably laid down financial budgets to all the department managers and one amongst many ways of reducing costs is laying off people.
sorry but no, they don't need to do anything of the such. it's internal matters and there's no reason they should go public about it just because you want to be kept in the loop.

I watched an interview on IGN I think were Zimmerman said that being part of the sony 1st party group allowed them to literally call up Naughty Dog, Guerrilla, Santa Monica, et cetera, and ask how they did this and how they did that.
Sounded like they all shared their tips and tricks with one another. Cool stuff.
