I know what you mean, but I doubt they will be able to pull that off. It would be hard enough to do with a decent gaming pc let alone on the ps3 and 360. The amount going on would probably slaughter the frame rate.
I'm quite happy to give them some slack in that regard. I will be quite impressed if they do happen to pull it off though, very impressed actually.
Yeah, Bayonetta was much better than DMC2. It was better than NGS2 as well imo.
@extermin8or
They may be sold at discount prices but they sell higher volumes when they are discounted. It's a long game in many respects with pc gaming, they may sell for cheaper, such as in the Steam sales, but they can earn money on a game over a much longer period of time.
With console games, after a few months a lot more people buy second hand which gives them no money at all. They sell digitally on consoles as well, but a publisher earns mostly on r...
Very linear game, just isn't in the same ball park at all when there's a hell of a lot more going on in GTA.
Theme Park, Hi-Octane and Syndicate Wars were all released on ps1 Hammad. Quite a while ago I know, but the guy has been making games for a long time. Longer than the time many gamers on this site have been alive.
The source is me, I followed all the news about GTA3 because it was supposed to be coming to pc, and I was a very keen GTA fan, but it shifted gears to only come to ps2. It came to pc and xbox at a later date.
Do you think that happened because Rockstar loved Sony so much? If you do, you're quite naive.
So if they make an mmo, that's a bad thing? I understand some of the flack that Capcom gets, but some of you just want to ridicule them no matter what.
Just like The Witness. Who cares.
'I am so exited though I really am tempted to sell my ps4 when I get it or put it in a charity raffle'
What planet do you live on?
I remember when Sony paid Rockstar to make GTA a timed exclusive.
It happens all the time, MS aren't exclusive with the timed exclusives.
Yeah, the ps2 sold over 100 million within 6 years, so the ps3 is not going to do as well as the ps2. Should still sell over 100 million though.
I'd have to say The Witcher 3 myself, but it does look great.
What do you mean by 'feel too cheap'?
Yeah on Xbox, but it's done well on pc so far. Super Meat Boy is certainly very successful, it's sold over a million copies.
Super Meat Boy was very successful though, and Monaco's been doing very well too.
@MariaHelFutura
Ah excellent, didn't realise.
Cool :)
1999 more to go!

What do you think of Phil Fish's attitude to someone here? -

Isn't he being a bit of a bully there? He could have answered in a more diplomatic way, but instead chose to be an arrogant asshole.
I'm not condoning what others have said ...
I had Frankie Goes To Hollywood on my old speccy, it was a good game for its time.
It's with sadness that I say Splinter Cell will never return to the greatness that was Chaos Theory. Splinter Cell isn't Splinter Cell anymore, it's just another action game.
It happens with pretty much any great franchise built on core mechanics that set them apart from the rest, as soon as the money men get involved it all turns to crap.
Ubisoft killed Splinter Cell beginning with Double Agent, just like EA killed Dead Space with Dead Space 3. ...
