It's not really a case of being loyal though, being loyal's fine in a way. It's just the immature crap that gets spoken that's annoying, and you seem to do that quite often.

I do like this guy, he's honest about a lot of stuff and gets involved in interacting with the fanbase very often. I still smile when I think of that sharing video.

No one 'needs' to play games, but we do anyway because we enjoy it. I spend a lot of money on music equipment because I love making music. I don't 'need' it but I get it anyway because I enjoy getting new musical toys to play with.
People enjoying doing different things with their money isn't a difficult concept to understand.

This a game where it looks crap on all systems, it's just the degrees of crapness that separate them. You can play at higher resolutions on pc and ps4, but that just makes the crap a little less murky, it's still diarrhea splashed on a screen in gaming form.

Kieron Gillen was a great reviewer, but he also had a tendency to write some complete guff sometimes as well. Do you remember that Deus Ex 2 review, God that was bad.
I did enjoy most of his stuff though, and Pc gamer had a really good team around that time. Seems to have gone downhill lately, I rarely buy it anymore.

I'm not sure I'd consider Ghouls & Ghosts a horror game. A great game certainly, but not a horror game. I consider horror games to be games that are made to scare you, the only remotely scary thing about Ghouls & Ghosts was the fear of losing a life.
I used to rent films like that years ago. There were many films I got that were absolute crap, which I based my renting habits on because the cover looked amazing, and the description of the film on the back made it look worth watching. Some of the worst films ever made have had the most appealing packaging.
I'm glad I stopped doing that because I wasted a lot of time and money that way.

That doesn't take away the fact that his case is not the average experience people have with pc gaming though.
And I don't think OS and driver issues are much of an issue nowadays. Pretty much everything now is automated, from graphic drivers to OS updates. It's a big difference to how it was 10-15 years ago, even 5 years ago.
