I do think Nintendo should have called it something different, they needed to make sure that people knew it was something different. But obviously they also wanted to bring the crowd in that made the Wii so successful, and it didn't quite work the way they hoped it would.
They can't do anything about it now though, as much as some people would like them to have some magical re-unveiling with a new name it wouldn't work and would just cost them more money for the p...
I remember getting one from a catalogue when it came out, was great for the time. I had Blinx, Splinter Cell, Halo and Jet Set Radio come with it. Good times.
They're still selling though, would be foolish to turn the extra income away.
It's not a realistic game. It's set in an alternate universe, it has robotic dogs and robots and like you said it has you fighting them on the moon.
It's fantasy, it's not meant to be something you dissect in history classes. It's this way of thinking that lead people to make something out of nothing.
How are they being glorified exactly?
So many delays lately.
Deja Vu, I'm sure I read another exact comment from Tom in another The Order article.
Great Box art. That'll keep people going until it's released. That and the beautiful, fantastic, stunning screenshots.
'Youd think ubisoft give tablets to assholes aswell.'
Have you received yours yet?
Once you've gone WASD you can't go ESDF. That's just crazy talk.
The article is about MMOs that use Kickstarter and fail to succeed as well as Star Citizen. It's not about the final product Godmars.
NewMonday is referring to this - http://www.escapistmagazine...
Which was a preview event. Maybe a bit of a home goal by Ubisoft, but not as sinister as NewMonday makes out. Going by what he said you would assume they gave them to everyone who was reviewing the game, but it was just at one event.
As usual NewMonday is ...
By that logic the ps4 version should lose a point also because it can't do 1080p but the pc version can.
What a crappy way of thinking.
@GameDev1
I'm no fan of Gears but it won a ton of awards as well including many GOTY awards. Halo's won a ton of awards as well, and just like Gears that includes many GOTY awards.
I see, well if you can find one cheap I'd recommend getting one, even now. There's a huge amount of games worth playing on it. Although PS Now should take care of that as well when it's in full swing, so there's that option as well.
I'm surprised Vaas from Far Cry 3 didn't get a mention, I'd put him up as one of the greatest villains.
I remember you saying before that you only had a Wii last gen. Just out of interest, how come you never picked up a ps3?
I've seen a few videos of The Order and I wasn't impressed really. Nice graphics? Sure, but the gameplay looked pretty clunky and didn't seem much different to any other 3rd person shooter out there.
That's just the impression I got, hopefully that will change at E3 if they show something different, but I didn't think much of what I've seen so far.
Is the pc version only capable of being 900p and 30fps?
Damn, I didn't know that.
What, your comment?
EDIT:100% agreement, you can't argue with that.
'Considering the fact that we are ending up with such comparisons between PC and PS4 for the same games, I'd say PlayStation has come a long way. '
We had the same sort of comparisons between pc and ps3, what's your point?
Look at the difference in these images, look at the shadows at the back, the crispness of the details, the trees and the foliage. There's quite a difference.
