@MRMagoo123
My 670gtx cost me £150. How does that cost as much as a console? A ps4 is £350. Your logic is, as usual, way off.
Puppeteer is an excellent game, well worth playing. One of the most original games I've played in quite a while, in terms of presentation and style at least.
The only complaint I would have is that the different heads you collect are largely just for accessing certain bonus areas, aside from that they are mostly cosmetic and are redundant in a gameplay sense.
Apart from that it's a fantastic game.
EDIT:Just thought, the heads also act...
I'd love a new Road Rash game, that was one of the best games I ever played on the Mega Drive. Great fun. Just an updated version would be fine with me, they could make it look amazing now.
It won't ever go away. It'll change as time goes on, but it won't go away. The way we game will alter, but there will always be people that want to play games.
It's interesting to think of what gaming will be like in a hundred years or so, considering how things have progressed over the last 30-40 years.
I wonder if the console wars will still be going then, people arguing over the power of the microscopic chips inserted into your brain :P
The thing I'm amused at is how the arguments go on and on about framerate and resolution, yet very few actual games being released on either console are 1080p and 60fps. I mean, how many are there so far? I don't think it's many.
And people seem to think that the frame rate will somehow improve as time goes on, which, if history repeats itself, will not be the case. Devs will focus on making the next game better looking than the last and will settle on 30fps as t...
@djplonker
But if someone has already got a gaming pc that can run it better than the console versions, then the pc version would be the best one to go for as far as this article goes, which seems to be focused on resolution.
It's not about how much the systems would cost to play them on.
I'll definitely be getting it on pc anyway. Not just because I have got a decent gaming pc, but also because I don't have a ps4 or xbox one :P ...
Yeah you have to look at the big picture really, Candy Crush makes nearly a million dollars a day. When the share of the profits goes around the pie is sliced far fewer ways than with a huge game like GTA5.
No there isn't. Why lie, no one is going to believe you?
Halo 2 was released on PC as well. It was the game MS was hoping would make gamers buy Vista for. But some clever people made it work for XP so Vista wasn't needed anyway.
Max Payne 3 was made and published by Rockstar, Remedy had nothing to do with it.
Yeah it's all about the advertising, which apparently Nintendo are going to be doing a lot of with this game.
The Wii U is a great console, it's obviously not the most powerful, but it's getting a solid libary of games, slowly but surely. And at the end of the day that's all that matters. It deserves to sell more than it is doing at the moment.
There's this - http://tesrenewal.com/morro...
Although obviously it's a mod for Oblivion instead. I've been meaning to try it out for a while, apparently 100% of the main game is completed but they're still working on Bloodmoon and Tribunal.
Might have to give it a try tonight.
The only one I've played is the first game, I'm gonna pick up a Xbox One for this. Lol, I was only saying yesterday how a 1-4 collection would be enough to make me want to buy one, and now this article turns up :P
I'm seeing a lack of something. Can't quite put my finger on it.
That's okay, it won't cost as much as my marijuana plants.
This is the announcement I've been waiting for.
They made some amazing games back then, they were geniuses at the time. I remember playing Ultimate games on my speccy before they became Rare and they just made totally fantastic stuff. BattleToads was one, Donkey Kong Country was another, and they got to make Conkers which you wouldn't have expected on a Nintendo console.
It would be hard for any dev to get away with the creative decisions they used to make, but it would be great if they still had that spark and were gi...
That's a totally different point to the one I was making, but um, ok.
What are you saying exactly?
Because while I am responding to what was said in the article you seem to be making a totally different argument, I think, to what I'm saying.
Let me give you a taste of the article, if you haven't read it already -
'You’ve got a dude in a fabulous pink suit with a flamboyant coif, sitting on some desecrated ruin...
So you didn't finish the game before you made your review?
