Another + comment.

That's what I forgot to mention above.. I quickscope to add a challenge to my own game (as you explained above as well) but I didnt even think ot mention the playstyle compared to the typical sniper. Taking quickscoping out encourages snipers to sit in a corner from the farthest point on the map and sit there hard scoping the entire time.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows this doesn't go well with people these days either because e...

thank you. lol how are there so many fkin people that think the opposite?

quickscoping has been around forever, like the awp in counterstrike for example. watching a master at work with a deagle/awp quickscoping was incredible... one of the hardest things to perfect in a shooter and feels amazingly satisfying when you can pull it off.

The whole fps arcadey type feeling IS deliberate they aren't not going for that.. it's what makes it so competitive. When you have clutch rounds of SnD where your team dies and you pull off a 1 v 5 is what cre...

@longRod

lol you think I just knew that stuff off hand? nah I googled it because I remember them saying a few months ago that there was no "lead platform" even though PC technically is... but their software generates all the content on all platforms simultaneously...

"This gave us the chance to ask Cevat Yerli, founder of Crytek, technical questions about the Cryengine 3. From the interview we learned that although the Cryengine 3 is a multi-pl...

Hey Traveler.. so right off the bat, the texture pop-in was noticable and quite frequent... atleast at the start of the rounds as it's probably still loading the map at that time. the framerate isnt too much of an issue, but that's mainly because there is never a lot of different things going on at once, like someone said earlier there is a lack of "atmosphere" especially if you're coming from bc2 or medal of honor. Screen tearing.. not too sure I wasn't really looki...

no, no they didnt. lol idiot.. the crytek engine was originally built for PC and using their own software, they're able to create the games for all 3 platforms simultaneously.

It's called cryengine 3 multi-platform technology and there is no lead platform. "Live Create" is a feature that allows the devs to transfer an adjustment made on the pc, to the consoles.

Crysis 2 on consoles will not set any bars graphically and as of right now the g...

I'm liking AA and the deeper / richer colours on the xbox version. I didn't really expect much for either but I play the ps3 version and when I loaded it up for the first time I thought it looked terrible lol actually the game itself looks decent but the lack of AA in this game specifically is pretty bad on the ps3

the contrast is nice on the 360 screens but that COULD be fixed for ps3 with TV settings i would think.. hm

aha road rash.. haha oh the good old days..

even Carmageddon was a lot of fun I'm surprised my rents let me play it lol I used to just win races by taking them out I never actually raced lol

often times I would just drive around the maps taking out all the pedestrians lol

Thats exactly what i was thinking while playing..

It has some neat halo-like abilities for each class like invisibility or jumping higher etc. but also has the kill cams and other cod features

I received my beta code last night, the demo does NOT look good this video makes it look even better then it is. I was pretty disappointed considering all the talking the devs have been doing.

not to say it looks horrible, and the fact that it's EARLY beta means it will most likely improve, but as of now no word of a lie this game graphics wise is comparable to MAG except MAG has better AA.

It will look gorgeous on PC cranked up but definitely not these c...

Yup, this game is way better than a 6.2 (.2??)

It is the same thing lol and so is mw1 but they are removing alot of the casual friendly features that were added between mw1 and mw2 which is nice to hear.. I'm sure it will still feel pretty casual, and similar to mw2 but I'm just saying I respect the fact that Treyarch recognized what was really wrong with mw2 and are making an effort to change it.
