No, not trolling, just stating observations.
I'm confused as to why "Xbox" never worked or did anything when he said it, or is that not a command cuz I thought it was.
And I'm not talking about it being slow movement, I know why he was moving slowly, I wasn't implying there was a recognition delay or anything I just think it took pretty long for the windows to load up a few times..
The new dashboard update I like quite ...
It really didnt work right away... watch the video lol
It struggled pretty hard with voice commands. Oh an like 25% of that video was probably loading/selecting interface items. lol
If the technology was ready for consumers, this video would have been recorded in under 3-4 minutes instead of 9
not due to their marketing, I'd say due to their 1 year head start...
That aside though, you are right in saying MS is the king of marketing but all this does is create initial hype and sales. I think the point of Min's post is that Sony while maybe not able to through half a billion dollars into advertising alone, they still manage to outsell in the long run as the quality of the products and word of mouth speaks for itself.
MS are the masters of mar...
not to mention PS2 is STILL selling
and PS3 is just gettin started
This article was defiantely a jab at kinect
...and it was a good one at that lol
These are actually great and a good way to update the shooters of today...
This feels like the real successor to cod4:MW as WaW and Mw2 were terrible IMO... cod4 was probably one of my favs, and it did bring quite a bit to the genre.. I'm willing to bet this will have a similar impact..
In fact, this may spark interest in currency within shooters to be handled just like counterstrike once again where you were spending (or saving) money as the game goes o...
2 sticks !
oh and ps2 compatibility
@Simco
actually there are quite a few like Donkey kong, goldeneye, zelda but a lot of the titles wii owners look forward to are once again, 1st party (or close to it) to nintendo and will probably never see the xbox.
MS has to think of something else other than random casual games if they want to KEEP the momentum.. sure it'll sell well, look at all the hype.. but I doubt it'll grow a pair of legs and walk a marathon
@tommy
They can ...
I don't know how you can watch this video and say its just some nub getting lucky..
Every single opponent in this video got outplayed and just simply weren't quick enough, or was crept up on. Not even a bullet from anyone before the guy could scope in and pull the trigger. Not to say those players were bad plays but they certainly looked surprised to run into some guy with a gun around the corner .. which happens a lot in these games.
This guy coulda ...
lots of people have :S
This isn't prologue It's actually quite obvious if you've ever played a lot of prologue. This map is from prologue which might be why you would say that but everything else is different:
1. sense of speed is nothing like this in prologue, prologue had a pretty weak sense of speed and this video had one of the best I've seen in a video game.
2. the interface is different.. this includes the new panel on the far bottom left corner that shows the...
i just came
I was going through the settings in the new update last night and noticed there was an option in the security settings where you could enable/disable MS monitoring the voice conversations. The tooltip stated that they wanted to monitor so they can get ideas for voice commands and updates etc haha
It was something like that anyway... makes you wonder though.
lol
with $500,000 in marketing, I'd sure hope so. lol
I REALLY wouldn't be surprised.. doesn't mean its better though, atleast for gamers.
As proven by nintendo, the casual market is huge.
god damn those video ads before the actual video are getting so annoying =(
good post.. sums up my thoughts anyway lol
Kinda sucks.. I was lookin forward to this as well. Maybe the next attempt will be better..
I want a light-weight (resource wise) fun game fighting in first person so you can anticipate the opponents actions etc. with quick response times etc. THAT would be the ideal fighting game =)
I wonder if EA will try something like this as the fight night series is damn fun and NHL has first person fighting already hmmm
Anyway, Too bad about this game ...
Slow read speeds aren't 'slowing' anything down. lol.
a crapload of wasted disc space is the fault of the developer not taking advantage because they're forced to use the lowest common denominator, which of course, is the DVD format, and the most they ever find the time to do, is to just use less compressed textures and audio because they're either too lazy and don't care, or they can't afford it (which is reasonable in that case)

wow
cross game chat isn't something "xbox fanboys" are desperately trying to hype, its a very popular feature on xbox yes, but I would say more half of all psn users are looking for this and it may not even be from xbox, but coming from PC where you have vent, teamspeak, skype etc.
Creating a party in the background with some local friends while everyone is playing different games and what not is an excellent feature if you're in any way soc...
