It was innovative 7 years ago when Sony did it. Not anymore.
If the tech was good enough for gamers today, Nintendo and Sony wouldn't have passed on it.
Was wondering the same thing...
NFS just needs to bring back underground already =)
Stop toying around with other kinds of racing now, they need to just stick to that open world arcade / good soundtrack and car mods kind of game.
It's very forgiving if you use every assist they have implemented.
I've thoguht about gettin a slim for the same reason, and because they're sexy
NEVERRRRR
I will pay sony 189 if mine dies. I don't think I could accept a ps3 with less than 4 USB ports and no backwards compatibility :(
whoa interesting..
Bethesda was right up with with huge publishers like activision EA nintendo and ubisoft... good for them.
You are right, but a few things to consider..
In Medal of honour you can disable the feature, I'm willing to bet a lot of the better quickscopers from cod4 could take any player that calls him/her cheap into that game and repeat the same thing.
Another thing, I guarantee not many people talking down and ultimately had quickscoping removed, can actually compete and just generally hate the idea of "quickscoping" because they think its cheap becaus...
Oh that was a review? lol I thought it was a 50 second long youtube advertisement so I was barely paying attention at the start lol
Yes professional,
like paid salaries, full sponsorships (Nvidia, ATI, Sennheiser to name a few) and air travel fees to play a shooter. There are also professional wow arena players believe it or not.
it's called e-sports and they've been around for I don't know how long, whenever SK and 3D were huge in the cs community which was probably like 10 years ago...
If quickscoping was cheap, you wouldn't have only a handful of player...
It's true but theres no convincing the hundreds of shooter nubs on this site that started their shooter careers with cod4.
every gun has the aiming support, the only difference between sniping and using a an M4 is that the sniper gets 1 bullet, 1 chance, and the player using the M4 can hold that trigger down until a series of bullets kill X amount of people within seconds.
How on earth did such a reaction time reliant skill become so cheap and hated... yo...
I actually thought the PS3 DID have a decent amount of "unique" games for move.. I always just thought the fact you could easily add it on to any current game was just a bonus..
I think because the amount of games already out that CAN use it greatly outNUMBER the exclusive-move games at the moment... they tend to overshadow the move games until more are released (and more are going to be released).
just imo
pubmasters ftw !
I agree with mr. sessler =)
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
you still can =) especially if you have a psp.. i enjoy playin the classics on my psp rather then seeing it stretched on the big screen =(
I think 3
They change depending on game mode... the bodycount (deathmatch) is usually the dam so thats probably why its so common right now
You sound like you're sad :( want a candy?
this isn't exactly the same deal as a "wii boxing" game. You don't need to be a ps3 fanboy to know this, clearly you live in a shoebox if you don't know what move is.
I dunno how anyone can say 1:1 tracking is the exact same as wii's gesture based punching :S are people really this dumb?
Jim is a good writer why do so many people hate him?
Stop hatin on someone who makes valid points just because he doesn't always say what you want to hear. He's one of the few reviewers today that gives an honest OPINION and detailed review about key components in each game and doesn't conform to all the other reviews / scores just to fit in.
Would you really want him to give it a 9 out of 10 even though he thinks its a 5 out of 10? what would be ...
omg
UT, SSX and evergrace were my favs... wow lol I remember all the news about the shortage of ps2's.. my parents waited in line all night just to get one for me for xmas that year... oh the memories...
I wish I was young again =(
When the wii released, Sony had already been there and done motion controls.
Even earlier prototypes of what they now call "move" was shown before Wii was released.
Also, I think Sony and Nintendo would take up any kind of tech if it's good enough.. I'm sure all consoles will have something just like kinect in the future.. MS just chose to release it to the masses a bunch of years too early to grab some money off of families who don't kn...
