I agree. Microsoft studios needs to tighten up, start taking a page out of Sony’s book. Franchises like Halo, Gears of War need the God of War treatment and need to be reinvented. Those games are part of the reason I purchased an Xbox 1 and those games are also the reason I parted ways with Xbox in favor of the PS4.

I sold my Xbox S to buy a PS4 pro, just for this game. I have no regrets, God of War is awesome.
I find the son more of like an option, or a familiar because you can use him to attack and distract enemies. It adds to the strategy when fighting more difficult beasts. Having read the article, the author actually commends Sony Santa Monica for how the NPC is used here. This isn’t somebody trolling but giving props to the developer for being creative and clever with the NPC.
I agree. My niece has an old Dreamcast. After an hour of Shenmue, I was done! After being happy and nostalgic, I thought the same thing, “this game hasn’t aged well. It is so slow and empty. To usher in shenmue 3, they may have been better off remaking these two games.
I wonder if Sony will Demonstrate new technology their working with but not call it PS5 yet. My hope and dream is that they will announce a PS4 Pro price drop and a possible redesign of the unit.
