Is this guy mental? Yes, 39 million units have been sold BUT MS states that 50% of those are gold subscribers (which drops the number down to about 20 million). When you factor in Time Zones, personal schedules, and holiday events (such as New Years and Christmas), of course not all are going to be on at the same time.
Good lord, if he just would have used a bit of logic, then he could've spent the time he took writing this article elsewhere.
The article doesnt bring anything new to the table.
Oh ok, so thats why you have one bubble.
@MrBot: You're answer is so immature and redundant that it's irrelevant. Dismissed as a fanboy.
On topic: What does win mean anyway? It's such a loose term used in fanboy debates.
Technically everyone wins because if you own both systems or just own one, you get to play stellar games. Competition is good, it brings out the best in the developers.
And it takes 2 minutes to make extra accounts.
Wow, a 360 article populated by PS3 fanboys! I never thought I'd see the day
/sarcasm
Xbox Live only. The PC service is called Games for Windows.
DJ, do you live in a shed dude? I have 5 PSN accounts, and I know at least 10 other people that have 5 PSN accounts. That's 55 accounts between 11 people. I have 1 Xbox Live account because I don't feel like paying for more than one and silver is useless. Do the math before you start going on a crazy rant trying to prove people wrong. Get out of your cave once in awhile and you might learn a few things.
I have a gameshare account with 4 other people, I have a JPN and UK account, ...
This looks nor sounds nothing like Home. Just because Home has a few scattered games, doesnt make them identical. This space will support over 1,000 classic arcade titles. Just sounds like an arcade space, with a feature to navigate through.
Uhm, 2008 was a pretty good year for the 360. It actually had a solid lineup, more so than Sony even. How can you even make wild accusations like that? 2009 was MS's only lacking year in terms of software. But Xbox Live integration was in full force in 2009, and the same goes for XBLA games.
Wow, the Playstation fanboys are out in full force trolling the 360 articles. Isn't it exhausting to blindly make false predictions? You're no Nostradamus. In fact, you're just a trolling fanboy.
Ahh the common troll. Not only a troll, but a blind troll at that. It must be cold and lonely under that bridge.
Uhh, you forgot two of the biggest titles MS has this year: Splinter Cell: Conviction and Halo Reach
Are you blind? Or just stupid?
"Speaking at CES 2010, Kaz Hirai announced that the Sony family of hardware sold 3.8 million units worldwide in the 5 weeks of December. 1.7 million units were sold in the US alone."
Emphasis on the word "family." The person that wrote the article changed the words around on their website. Originally, the article said "Playstation family" not "Playstation 3". The summary at N4G is proof of that be...
These numbers arent just the PS3 alone, it's all of the Sony family including PS3, PS2, and PSP. Perhaps the people above me didnt read the article?
Who would go through all that trouble to pirate a PS3 game? Its expensive also. You'd need a bluray burner, and blurays, which is costly. On top of that, you'd need to download 25 gigs of data. I buy maybe 5 PS3 games a year, no need for piracy.
Troll much?
Am I supposed to see a difference here?
This is how all developers should do it, where it looks consistent across the board. THQ has always managed to be fairly good at what they do. Props to them.
@DaTruth
It's obvious you're blinded by fanboy goggles, because to the human eye there really isnt a noticeable difference. Most people in here agree that it looks exactly the same.
