This is such a great idea. It helps prevent power struggles (ie Rockstar Spouses Letter) and keeps employees from becoming resentful towards their peers. I really wish more businesses would adopt this approach.

The problem is that the people that agree with the Saakings of the world wear blinders and cannot bring themselves to liking anything else in the world of gaming.
That last trailer really got me excited for this game. I remember when the first God of War came out, I had to borrow my friends PS2 while I was at college. It was one of the best games I had ever played, and I couldnt stop recommending it to people.
Nothing really had me amped about the third installment, but that Chaos trailer reconfirmed my love for the God of War series.
I wouldnt call 5 games on sale "massive"...

I understand that Sony thinks they serve publishers better, but that is their opinion. Microsoft could say the same thing.
Ultimately, attach rate means nothing to the publishers. Raw, net sales do. And the fact of the matter is that there are more 360's out there, and while the 360 usually outsells the PS3 by a slim margin (usually half a million copies on big budget games) it still means a larger profit to the publisher.
