I honestly didnt think Army of Two could get any worse, but it has. How could they seriously take a step backward. Not many liked the first one, but I enjoyed playing it coop with a buddy.
If Gears took ideas from Army of Two, I'd most definitely not pick up the next iteration.
HHG, you sir are the worst. I think the reason most people visit these comments is because they're completely baffled at how you come up with this trash.
I have a feeling these opinion pieces are going to keep popping up. Everytime a new blog rises, they need a flamebait piece to draw attention to their new site.
All this is simply conjecture. You cannot compare the two and offer a clear winner based on opinion. Unless there is hardcore facts and evidence, it all comes down to preference. Just like Pepsi vs Coke.
Does anyone honestly even care what this guy thinks? I mean cmon, it's a blog that no one has ever heard of. It's not news, unless news these days is listening to uninteresting people babble.
While I do agree that Sony's quality is second to none, I believe their software sales are not as good as they should be. With the amount of quality exclusives recently (and the lack thereof on the 360) I'm surprised they dont have a higher attach rate.
GI and Kill Screen are 2 completely different publications. They wont be in direct competition with each other nor will the readership be quite the same.
Actually, you have to make a donation in order to receive the first issue, although I have a feeling that's over with. It was $20 for the first issue, and $30 for first issue+tshirt, and $100 for first 4 issues , a tshirt, and grab bag.
I picked up the first issue, hopefully it comes soon. It'll be a great coffee table mag for sure.
I find it rather amusing that anything on this site with the words "nudity", "babe", or "NSFW", shoots to the top of this site higher than if the next Xbox or Playstation was announced.
Playstation site claims Playstation product is better. How original.
Seriously, where did this guy get "Bungie does a smash and grab with ODST" from the original article titled "Bungie explains lack of Halo 3: ODST DLC." It's amazing what people will do for hits.
This article is pure garbage, pure speculation, and pure fanboy fodder. How is this even an article? It should be listed under "Rumors."
I'll admit, ODST wasnt mindblowing, but it was a decent game. Better than a lot of garbage that gets put out...
Only a true fanboy would turn this into a PS3 vs Xbox 360 debacle and then start naming exclusives of 2009. It never gets old does it? How many times have we seen this same thing over again? I swear, people like you could turn an article on how the Wii cures cancer, into a PS3 vs 360 debate.
I hate to use the "H" word here, especially it being a PS3 frenzy comment section, but Halo 2 used the clan system a lot more efficiently than KZ2. I think the Halo 2 clan system is up at the top of the list when it comes to clan usage. If you look at KZ2's multiplayer as of now, it's a ghost town. Whereas with Halo 2, the game was played heavily a full 2 years after it came out.
And dont tell people that they're wrong. It's opinion, not fact.
I like Killzone 2, and it was very pretty. But I disagree with this article because this game was everything but innovative. It didn't do anything new for the genre whatsoever. I don't recall any epic setpieces either. But I would expect nothing less from a PS3 blog. One thing they love to do is be pretentious.
Good ol PirateThom, always the fanboy pessimist! There is life beyond the PS3 out there Thom, you should try it sometime!
This article was written over 2 weeks ago. Check the report log, the initial article had him saying "Well, it's November 27th and I'm stuffed with turkey...", but he was reported for Bad Editing.
This is an old article, written by a 7 year old it seems.
Uncharted 2 was so d*mn good, that I dont care when the next DLC comes out or how good it is. Having this stellar game is enough for me. (Although I'd still play the hell outta some DLC)
This lineup is certainly intimidating, and I will be extremely broke next year. It is a gift and a curse to be a multiconsole owner this year. I literally HAVE to buy all these games, because I know they're going to be dynamite. I guess it's time to start peddling on the corner for spare change.
And who knows, this may be the year where gamers unite and put petty fanboy squabbles aside.
Honestly I play my 360 more than my PS3, but I will admit that the Xbox really dropped the ball this year. I bought way more exclusives for my PS3 this year. Let's hope that both systems do well in 2010. I really think the competition is healthy for gamers.
"In the space of one comment people accused him of purposefully down-marking a big-name game just for hits (which is a favourite accusation of the unintelligent comment-troll)"
I like this quote the best, because it's 100% accurate. Unintelligent people use this reasoning when they feel extremely butthurt about a score their precious game didnt get.
But AC2 DID NOT deserve to receive a 4.5. I'm playing it right now and it has given me an enormous amount of...
Wait, so let me get this straight: The PS3 has one solid year of exclusives, and all of a sudden it's the King of All Exclusives? WHat about 2006, 2007, and 2008? Did everyone forget about those years? The PS3 didn't have jack for exclusives. Disagree all you want, but it's the honest to god truth.
This is an absolutely poorly written and short article. All it is doing is confirming all PS3 fanboys blatantly biased comments. And its a PS3 blog.
No bias in this arti...
How can this be the "real" God of War? The real God of War is, well, God of War.
This thing is pretty awesome. Just like the Xbox 360 laptop he did before, this guy is really talented. I would buy it if I had the scrilla. I totally would rock this thing at work.
